Blather and Babble / Re: Things Clients Do To Annoy!!!
« Last Post by Justine on Today at 09:51:40 am »
I've possibly said this before but callers who ask for a half hour booking at 15 mins notice. When I say sorry no it's too short notice they insist "but it's only for half an hour"

I have to be 100% presentable plus my client room exactly how it should be whether for a long or short booking!  I do make sure the room is at least half decent but 15 mins notice is no good for me.

When they say "no need to dress up" it niggles me. I have to be in my Justine attire and everything beneath it pristine, then the hair and make up, if they want me to do a good  job!

Yeah I definitely couldn’t get up before 7am. Never been an early bird, I love a lay in.

God, so do I! I hate getting up at all, but it's a time of day when I wouldn't be doing anything bar being asleep so I'd prefer to work then than at a time I'd rather be doing something else, if that makes sense?

If somebody wants to book me at 8pm there's every likelihood it will get in the way of a cinema trip or an event, or cooking dinner, having a bath or even just watching TV, whereas at 6am I definitely don't have other plans 🤣

That is the one thing that has made the biggest difference to how I feel in recent years. I used to open a bottle of wine three or four times a week and sometimes more. But around the time covid came in I just stopped completely. After a few weeks I didn't miss it and now I find it a bit odd that my friends drink so often. I feel so much better and more aware these days. I do have an occasional drink in company, but that is all. Too much in one go tastes like poison now.

Probably sounds not much to do with escorting, but that's not so. Problem clients are rarer because I pick up on the warning signals more quickly, and I feel fitter and more healthy. The difference is quite noticeable when I think about it.

Me too i gave up drinking in 2022 and omg i dont know how i used to function after drinking. You’re right you do use your intuition, more clear headed making better decisions.

Well I'm 58 and I advertise as 58, I can't be arsed to lie and I'm no good at it anyway, lots of guys tell me I don't look it and that's fine.

I'm as busy as I want to be and guys book me because they want to see a woman of my age, my clients range from 28 to 80+ (I done see under 28s that I know of) but I get a lot of enquiries from 18 to 28yo guys who want the older woman experience

Yeah I definitely couldn’t get up before 7am. Never been an early bird, I love a lay in. I find it easier to stay up and work late. If I know I’m going to have a few days off that I can enjoy, then I make the most of it. Unfortunately though for me that means sacrificing some sleep time. However, if I get a really shit client I do sometimes finish for the day. I get put in a real bad mood and just don’t want to entertain anyone. That’s happened a few times

I'm an early riser to get other things out of the way, plus I offer morning bookings. Some time ago I realised I simply had to have a 9pm (or earlier) finish time. A few regulars were disgruntled at first but once they realised the time I get up, and that my private life/time off is important,  plus effort I go to re appearance, various services and equipment, travelling I do suddenly understood (after all they had expressed concern about my well being/been fairly friendly/encourage the other services and enjoy the kit etc) also understood has to be a firm boundary. Alternative would be to really restrict to 9-5 weekdays only and or remove the complicated bits.

Now I've been Alcohol free gor 13 months I sleep better and have more energy and my weight is more stable probably because I'm not spiking my blood sugar.

Definitely - I value my evenings and pack up at 6pm if I don't have any more (although I'll give a bit of leeway if I've been in a booking that ends at 6 and away from my phone), but then I can start bookings at 7am and even earlier, which other people wouldn't do. I'm not remotely glam in photos or anywhere else so I don't get punters who expect that; clean and in clean clothes is as good as it gets :D
 :FF :FF :FF
I know I'd get more done if I had a 2 bed so I could leave one room ready for work all the time. It's the dirge of setting up and getting everything personal put away that wears me out and I don't do this or get dressed for bookings until a punter is on his way - I find sitting around waiting for texts with all the work stuff out soul destroying and I can't do it.

If in doubt leave it out. This man sounded like he would be a difficult short booking never mind an overnight!

You did the right thing in cancelling. Better safe than sorry and forget about the 💰 there will be others along soon 😋

I have a rule evening bookings must be made by 4.30pm at the latest, if not I take it as an evening off. I offer bookings at a variety of times including weekends and bank holidays and I have a personal life.
