hi hun,
Terraced houses at the end of a street are always ok as clients can nip in and out without much fuss, or ones that have a walk way entrance to the back. If you want to work from home be aware of the neighbours, they can't complain if they don't know.
I'd say get somewhere not longer than a 20 minute ride to station or as the other ladoies' point out near major roads. Really easy parking is the main thing for clients. If they have to pay for parking it will put them off in my experience. Never go for cul-de-sac type housing as your neighbours will be front facing and generally very nosey! Student areas are quite good as no one really cares as properties are changing hands all the time. When you view property ask questions about stuff like the neighbours etc etc.
Hope this helps x
