I've worked in a few brothels (before they closed em all down up here), and they weren't the Ritz, but bloody hell, this one could do with a bit of redecorating lol

It was a touch boring but perhaps a necessary insight for the nation - that girls are usually pretty together and punters are usually pretty normal.

The Irish woman is Glasgow Laura Lee. I don't think she *actually* works there - I think she worked some shifts for this programme in order to speak on behalf of sex workers. As she's very eloquent I thought she came off well.

Just seeing George McCoy made me nauseous. I couldn't do him. I just couldn't.

I thought the ladies running it were lovely. The owner had me giggling with getting her words wrong, "Domineerix" & something else funny I can't remember. The flat caps were a bit of a cliche lol. Were the wigs supposed to hide their identity? Didn't work very well, maybe masks too would have helped. Rates are a bit cheap   30 quid for half an hour, or do they add prices on in the room?

He was the old, white-haired man in a cap. If you google McCoys Guide and George McCoy and look at images you'll see his photo.

I think the half hour was normally 40 but they have a "happy hour" on Friday where it's ?10 less. I'm not sure how much of the fee the ladies keep but they also get to charge for extra services in the room.

I'd be annoyed as hell by clients coming in just to sit down and chat with a cup of tea.

I thought it was pretty funny when they read out the prize winners and third prize was some guy named James who works in a funeral parlour. They all wrinkled their noses and said "Oh, I hate him... old pervert." As someone said on Twitter: "All funeral parlour workers in the Sheffield area named James are now red-faced."
