Threatening texts of a client
« on: 29 May 2011, 08:38:39 pm »
I really have a problem and I am not sure what to do.
For about a month now I have been getting texts and calls everyday of  a guy, I am not 100% sure if he is a client that has visited me before but he knows the name of the road I do my incalls at.

First the texts were harmless and just sounded angry that I was an escort and than a week later he was asking me to meet him, and give up escorting to be with him, and now for the past week he has been threatening me non stop, from arranging an acid attack on me, to breaking my legs, to come down to my apartment and hes coming out with stuff like hes got his cop mate to put a tracker on my phone and all sorts of stuff.

And afew times he has actually come down to my road at silly hours of the morning after I have blocked his calls, I just dont know what to do,  yesterday my boyfriend  spoke to him and asked him  to stop harassing me but thats made things worse,  im just thinking if I go to the police will it make it worse?

And I am just so paranoid  when ever I see clients now, I am thinking of taking down my AW profile as he regularly texts me extracts from my blogs but I have a good number of feedback on there and I dont really want to start over again, I just dont know how to deal with this.

Help much appriciated x

Keep the texts and talk to the police. He probably thinks you can't go to them (even clients can think you are behaving illegally) or they won't be interested, but he would get a shock.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

As the above poster said: grab all your texts, messages, everything and go to the police -right now-. Do not wait a second. You need to get a restriction order from this guy as soon as possible. You're not dealing with a normal person you're deal with an insane character who doesn't have a life. While you get that restriction order going try to have security or the boyfriend around.

Police.  Now.  Your safety is potentially at risk, and this guy sounds like a nutter.

I second what everyone else has said about going to the Police but I think I'd also recommend doing it sooner rather than later. I dont mean to say anything to add to your worries but from what you've described it sounds like his behaviour is deteriorating and the threats and the whole situation are escalating.

Please dont delay, go NOW!

Agreed with the police.. go tomorrow.

Afterwards, would it be possible to switch your incall location to somewhere else? If he is a nutter, the police can protect you but there is still a risk he will do something stupid.

I would reccommend switching incall locations if possible, and maybe even changing your stage name/profile. This in addition to going to the police of course

Stay safe!! Best wishes, Audrina

I agree with all the posts here.  Few years back I had life threatening phone calls and texts from a woman.  She thought her husband was visiting me , he wasnt it was another lady called Penny in a different area.  I was honest with the Police at what I did, remember you are not breaking the law.

The Police with my phone providers help traced the calls and visited the lady in person and gave her a warning.  But I could have taken it further if I wanted to, which I didnt.  A warning was enough.

Your safety is paramount and this man is breaking the law by making these threats.  Please take care and let us know how you get on.

Hugs

i would keep all of his text emails ect from aw and then go to the police with this and ask them to help you as you fearing for your safety dont let them push into ( we  cant do nothing untill he dose something ect )

i would also let the asshole know that i have done this  and that he is to expect a phone /call visit from the police
and that each time he contacts you you will simply forward the details to the police and let them deal with him

most people hate getting visits from the police  (i hate it when they drive behind me even when i know im driving perfectly safe and legaly )

just remember that what your doing is legal -  what he is doing is not

i agree
...Police...

dont be worried about going to the police chick
i had trouble off a couple a few months back threating me not as serious and nasty as your texts and i went to the police told them and they were perfectly fine infact they were great :)

and i know its a pain in the arse changing your name but  you should just text or emaill all your normal clients and tell them your new name and explain to them that you have had a bad experiance with someone that why your changing it ..... :) they will understand

he sounds like a loon
stay safe :) xx

I recently had a similar problem and i contacted the police and they have his details in a confidential file now and told me to keep all the texts as evidence and they were very sympathetic, there is no way you should have to put up with this just because you work as an escort.xx
