Another new directory [was: What are your thoughts?]

I am interested in starting a new directory. I heave read more then dozens of other saying just that within this site and like others have said theirs will be 'different'

I would like your opinion on the type of site that I am hoping to make. If you guys like it or hate it or there is another out there that I can't possibly compete with.

I believe a huge problem for both punters and escorts are fake accounts.  I don't think you can fight against fake accounts but you can make them not want to join which is why within my website/app there will be no private galleries. Making them lose interest in creating a account in the first place..


Allow users to follow each other - giving them the ability to see what the other is sharing from writings, internet links, images and videos

Users will be encouraged to share pictures and videos. To stoke interests and provide reasons to other users will want to follow you. This will also be great for regulars as they can see what your up too and spike interests in punters that are just looking through their feed which would never have happened

You will be able to tag others in your posts or photos. You may have contacts that are in the industry partners, local bussiness or Fellow escorts


A geotag location will also be available so if a punter is looking for a escort he can see those around him that are available.


There are other things that I would like to implement but those are the most important components. I am not trying to create a directory but a community that you can engage with those within the industry and clients themselves.   

The site will be free for both punters and escorts. There will also be no ads.

Please let me know your thoughts and if it is something that you think will benefit the industry.

Post your link and then if anybody wants to comment they can, although I doubt there's much to say that hasn't already been said a hundred times over on the threads you're claiming to have read.

You want to put time, money and effort into reinventing the wheel; there are God knows how many people who have tried and failed already and nothing about your post sounds remotely appealing to me, at least. Why would you bother? If you have that much time on your hands, why not do something useful?

I was expecting such a reply from you. As it seems you treat everyone that post within this forum as a enemy, within this section anyway. This is part of my market research. Also I fail to see that I am re inventing the wheel. There is nothing out there that gains traffic which represents my idea. Please if there is I would love to see it. It almost feels like you believe that the currant industry will not change and those that are currently monopolising the market will stand forever.

What I would like to create is not a ordinary directory.

No, it is not. This is a peer support and advice forum for sex workers to share experiences, ask questions and get answers. We are not here to help you or your ilk with anything, and your only role here is to post whatever you're touting and leave us to it.

If people are going to give up their time to post on this board, there are other people - around 9800 other people - more deserving of, entitled to and welcome to ask them for it than you.

Um you are basically describing twitter..it already exists and some of us are already on twitter.Some of us get the odd booking from it but mostly we just get alot of blokes with dick pics as avatars asking us to dm them or retweeting any pics or whatever we post and followers who just follow in case we post anything to wank over.All abit pointless really.The only bit that is different to twitter is the tagging of people but why would punter or escort want to tag each other on photos?I can't think of any reason why a punter would take the time to tag that he is in an incall with me and vice versa or why I would want to be tagged onto any kind of thing online?Explain what the point of it would be?
