Warnings & Wasters / Soulmate Escort Agency....beware!
« on: December 10, 2011, 09:19:42 PM »
Hi members,

Just to bring your attention a threat recently received by the above-named agency based in Central London. They were unhappy about a warning they found on our forum by one of our members and asked us to remove it immediately. As we saw no reason to and feel that the warning is genuine we declined. So they have threatened to hack into SAAFE and I'm assuming its forum too.

I've let the webmistress know and obviously we'll do our best to ensure that this doesn't happen but to warn you that if we are hacked into you'll know exactly the reasons why and who is responsible.

I appreciate Admin and Mods
are better placed to weigh up potential benefits vs extra potential work.
So yes I do understand that aspect of your view.
I hope you can reconsider this again.

Thanks,
Jodie.

That's good. Then you can understand and appreciate the explanations that both Amy and the Janitor have taken the time to post. We're not going around in circles and as it seems the topic has gone off course, it's time to lock it.

Questions and Answers / Message from Brandy re: SAAFE

Hi ladies,
Just to notify you that SAAFE has gone through a bit of a visual change and the whole of the main site has been updated. Gone are the old boxes, in its place is a slicker site.

New articles have been added: to keep up with the increase in demand from non-independent workers there is now an article on finding a decent agency or brothel from an escort who knows (more to be added as soon as we get permission from a current SAAFE member, also in the know). There are also tips on starting up your own website, finding a home (targeted for the London area but I would imagine it would be the same experience throughout the country), and a new article where escorts share their first experiences as an escort. Also the Where to Advertise article has been updated quite extensively so that may well be worth a gander if you’re always on the look-out for new directories in which to be listed. Thanks to Paris B for that.

There are still a couple of updates that still need to be done but you will be notified on Twitter if you’re a member there. Which brings me to the not so good news. I’ve had to set up a new account on Twitter. I would’ve preferred not to as we were satisfied with our advertising, but certain individuals thought it was a good idea to steal the entire contents of SAAFE and put it there themselves, citing that they weren’t happy with our advertising and as it was on the internet it was freely available to take what they wanted, ignoring the tiny fact that SAAFE is copyrighted.

To that end I’ve set-up the official Twitter page promoting SAAFE and I’m happy to say that we are still very well supported. Too many names to mention who are now following us but thank you. If you’re a member of Twitter please sign up and give your support to the real SAAFE, not to a person who seems to crave the glory of the good name it’s taken years to achieve and none of the hard work it’s taken to achieve it. In the words of the scrumptious Gary Barlow on The Xtra Factor on Saturday night whose name was also misappropriated, “it happens to the best of us”.

Gents, if you know of any ladies that are new to the business and don’t know about SAAFE yet, please direct them to not only the forum but the main site too. It’s a mine of information by experienced escorts who’ve put time and effort into it to help others. And of course, they can sign up to the forum itself if there any queries that need to be answered if they don’t see it on the main site.

Blather and Babble / Re: Black clients
« on: September 27, 2011, 07:58:43 AM »
Apologies but I personally have had enough of this, what with the Asian client thread still fresh. This could've died a natural death and I'm not sure why it was resurrected  six weeks later. This is an ecumenical forum. Unless somebody starts a thread specifically on white clients to even things out this one is done.

Blather and Babble / Re: I'm sick of this too.
« on: September 07, 2011, 07:18:04 AM »
This thread will stay locked, because it's doing the same thing the previous thread did and I think we've had enough of picking through what some sees as the negative traits of ethnic clients. And the previous thread should stay, because the inconsistencies dotted throughout it displays exactly that, inconsistence.

As has been said by the mods numerous times, an escort will always have the freedom of choice to see who she wants to see, but don't feel like your nose is put out of joint when your reason for not seeing a certain ethnic minority is due to their "characteristics", when it's really more to do with the colour of their skin. Characteristics that are also displayed by white clients. Ian raises an excellent point when he asks that you point out a race that isn't disrespectful to women in one way or another, you can't.

In all cultures women will always be seen as 2nd class citizens. Some races are just more subtle about their misogyny than others. In the 100+ thread "how not to book an escort" how many of the examples members have mentioned do you think are of an ethnic background, simply because they make up a small percentage of client base? My guess would be very little. But you know what, you will put up with it and put it down to it being part and parcel of the industry. It's annoying when white clients are disrespectful, when an elderly client asks for an OAP discount, or when an student asks for the same. But when either of those two examples are of Southern Asian descent, to you it becomes more aggressive and the reason why they ask for a discount is now down to the colour of their skin.

A timely example is the warning put up by Kinky By Nature. As far as we can tell now, the timewaster she mentions has been in touch with three escorts, including herself, yet he was racially abusive towards her. Why? All she did was behave the same as any other escort would. The only thing she did wrong was to not see this person. But yet out of the three examples he was the most aggressive towards her, simply because of the identity that stands out the most, the colour of her skin (I'm making the assumption that Rooby and Naughty Jas are both white otherwise that's my theory blown out of the water, lol)

And this is what escorts do, you immediately mark minority clients because of the colour of their skin, it's less to do with what they do, because you will put up with, and continue to see the majority of your bread and butter, your white clients. But you swear blind that's not racism. In Kinky's warning the timewaster says he wasn't racist, he probably doesn't think he is. But to pick out the one trait that makes her different to all the other escorts he's interacted with and turn it into a negative conotation makes him racist, whether or not he believes he is.

Nobody will start a thread dedicated White clients, because they're all great, aren't they? Nobody's had any problems with White clients. Nobody's had problems where their money was taken back from them after a booking, where they've been asked to provide drugs, when they've asked for discounts or in Amy's case, when they've been robbed. It's true, some races are more aggressive towards women than others, but misogyny is world-wide ladies. Don't fool yourselves into thinking that it's exclusive to any one particular race. You're deluded if you think it is. You're also in the wrong business.

You're uncomfortable with being labelled racist, that's the common thread throughout. The way you see it, you think you're minimising the risks that come with being in this business, you become selective, which is your choice at the end of the day. But when you become intolerant of a whole race simply because of the behaviour of a few, it's racism. You don't see yourself as so. But it is what it is.

Your post is crap, as is the service you're trying to flog. You're not the first person to try and sell this kind of rubbish and you won't be the last. I resent you coming to an escorts only forum looking to profit from scaremongering  hard-working service providers whose system works for them, a system that has worked for many years, so they could buy your services. You still haven't answered many of the questions posed to you, therefore you no longer have a platform.

You cannot provide a valid argument for ladies to take advantage of your business. Your link was to a newspaper article from two years ago. A proposal that never came to fruition. Google David Icke, your posts are reminscent of his ramblings. People didn't take much notice of him either.

Seeking/Offering / Re: A good marriage/pre-nup solicitor?
« on: May 02, 2011, 06:52:45 PM »
Due to a recent Supreme Court ruling (2010), unfortunately pre-nups are very much valid in England now. This is due to the increasing number of hearings that have been brought to court in the UK over the past few years.

I would suggest Joanne has a good Google of pre-nup solicitors and have whatever agreement her intended fiance draft up pored through with a very fine tooth comb.

Just to clarify point 10 in Sammy's excellent 10 point summary. The DPS is the Deposit Protection Service http://www.depositprotection.com/. This is called a tenancy deposit scheme. The DPS is one of a couple of online services you can use to find out whether your landlord has protected your deposit. In order to see if your money has been deposited into the scheme, your landlord needs to give the  number which he would've been assigned when opening the account in which to place your deposit. It's your deposit ID number.

To expand, if it does turn out that he hasn't protected your deposit, you can file a claim at the small claims court at your local county court (do a google search for the nearest one in your area; due to govt. cuts some have closed and some have merged with the magistrates courts and criminal courts. It costs around £35 to file (that was the price last year), which you can also claim back and also any necassary expenses you may have accrued when filing; postage, proof of phone calls, travel, etc.

If you can help it, always record your correspondence between yourself and your landlord. Try and use email or snail mail and if you use your mobile, send texts instead of speaking to him on the phone. If your landlord turns out to be a less than savoury character, you've got hard copies for proof.

Questions and Answers / Re: Electoral Roll
« on: April 25, 2011, 03:26:58 PM »
People actually use their real names on the electoral register, and indeed their council tax form???
The one that is accessible to anyone in the council
and gets sold to private companies....

As long as the council gets it's  council tax money it doesn't care.
And in the UK you are allowed to call yourself anything you want
as long as it's not  for the purpose of fraud or criminal intent.

I don't give my real details to anyone.
Sometimes with all my secrecy, I feel like I'm a spy behind the Iron curtain, in Harry Palmer's East Germany.
{well the UK government did give me a new passport with a different name, and gender indicator, for that matter...}

The electoral register is separate from the council tax register. Just because you're on one it doesn't mean you're automatically on the other. You'll need to apply to be registered on both.

Failure to provide information, or to supply the correct information can result in a huge fine and even prosecution, so giving false information to the electoral roll is not something SAAFE condones, it's against the law.

There are two types of registers; a full one and an edited one. The full register is available to other government agencies, political parties and credit reference agencies. This is what's used if you want to apply for a loan. It's also used for the prevention and detection of crime (hence why it's against the law to provide false information).

The edited register is the register that is used to sell your details. You can opt out of this version. Every year you should receive an electoral registration form. It's that purple and white form that falls through your letter box. Tick the box that says you don't want your details to be added to the Edited Electoral Roll and send it back.

Opting out of the edited register makes it impossible for anybody to find you. And nobody can find you via your utility bills either, so says the Data Protection Act of 1998. Try calling EDF or British Gas if your partner's name is on the bill. If your name isn't on the account they won't speak to you.

If anybody has any concerns about their details becoming public and they'd like more information, there's this: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/index.htm or there's this: http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/index.htm Both of these addresses are on the main site.

Ladies, please do not take advice from somebody who encourages giving false information. Especially if you pay your taxes. Read the websites if you have any doubts.

Warnings & Wasters / Gary Allen
« on: April 23, 2011, 10:01:20 PM »
This warning has forwarded to Saafe from the UKNSWP. Ladies especially in the Grimsby and the Scunthorpe area please be aware:

Gary Allen is infamous for attacking sex workers and went to prison for attacks in Plymouth. He had previously  been acquitted of a sex worker murder in Hull.   At the time of these articles in Febuary he was living in the Grimsby area and had breached a SOPO (Sexual Offences Protection Order) approaching sex workers in Scunthrope.
Please pass this information on to those in particular who have no internet access.

The second article was a bid by him to keep his identity confidential, which he lost:

Questions and Answers / Re: what would you do if you got a text
« on: February 20, 2011, 04:03:33 PM »
What if he describes himself as an older mature white guy on the text message  and all of a sudden  a little young Chinese  guy  with a knife shows up in your door? With phone you can hear voices and ACCENTS AND DISTINGUISH between and indian or a white guy etc..)

A 2 minute conversation gives you  a necessary insight on who you're going to be seeing.

It's unnecessary to bring (negative) racial stereotyping into this thread, not to mention slightly ridiculous. What is to stop a middle-aged White gentleman brandishing a knife? His accent?

Race has nothing to do with it. When you have a moment, Google Steven Gerald Wright, a middle-aged Caucasian gentleman, who was convicted of killing five street workers from Ipswich two years ago. If the subsequent reports and documentaries are to be believed, you wouldn't have met a more caring person.

Please stick to the original topic.

Requiring phone calls weeds out timewasters and text pests. And seriously: you can't even order a pizza by text (yet)!

Funny you should mention that :D
My local tandoori takeaway may not allow texts, but it does allow you to order pizza (or curry, chips, kebabs, etc) via email. ^_^

Quote
I can't imagine letting some strange man text me and then walk right into my home. He could be ANYONE.

This is very true miss, but what security does talking to him provide? I'd imagine that most psychopaths have fully working vocal chords and are capable of making a phonecall to get to their victim, if necessary (._.)

I guess hearing the voice can allow for a somewhat better judgement of character, though nothing is infallible. Perhaps I'm just lucky to not have had a bad experience yet.

I would say that you are very lucky not to have had a bad experience taking a booking with somebody with whom you haven't had a verbal exchange. And your sarcasm is unwarranted. Emily gave sound advice as always, which I think should be read and taken heed of.

I would suggest to ladies that do take bookings via text, to at least have one conversation before letting a stranger into your house, into your bed and before he inserts any of his apendages inside you. If nothing else it's good to say hello  and confirm any services that he may want you to provide. No, this isn't infallible and it won't tell you whether or not if this person has any malevolent intent. But it does help you get a feel for this person with whom you've made a booking; alarm bells can ring whilst you're having a chat.

He also gets a feel for you. The gentleman is about to spend a vast amount of money on you, the least you can afford him is a phone call.  A conversation speaks more volumes than impersonal texts that can be sent by anybody. If you request a phone call as confirmation and the person doesn't want to talk to you, take that as a sign that something isn't right.

Just to notify SAAFE members that we're happy to say that Ian has agreed to take on the mantle of SAAFE Advisor for the forum. Whilst he doesn't have the same blue stars as Amy and Emily he does have full global moderator status.

Ian is a welcome addition to the team. He has been a part of SAAFE for years and members will have seen from his previous posts there isn't much he doesn't know. The little he doesn't know can be written on the back of a stamp.

Along with Amy and Emily I'm sure you'll agree that we have a wonderful team here.
