The phone I used on AW was an O2 network I had to get it unblocked with a phone call to them but it did work fine for me...

My other phone is orange and I had to do the same thing to use internet.

Maybe O2 have changed now but it wasn't previously a problem for me.

Hehe  ;) actually when I first started looking it was all the agency/parlour ad's describing 'models' 'high class' that put me off becoming an escort when I first thought about it, I assumed they meant you had to be like Cindy, Christy, Naomi or whomever so seeing as naturally I'm not 6'2" and a D cup I thought it was an impossibility! Back then at least.

Hi Roxy,

Can I just add a few things to think about for you as you are just 18 and have many years of life left to go. Some of the things I first considered before entering this business are quite important life decisions, like if I were to ever want children - I knew I didn't want any then and I still don't now, if I were to ever change my mind about that I would not want to continue working ( I know many escorts do combine motherhood - indeed it may well be how many are able to help their family survive financially) but to me the thought of to my child if they were to ever find out, it might be so hard for them, as, well you're Mum to them and also for their well being I would not want to put myself in harms way in case I was ever injured or worse (rare I'm sure, but I wouldn't attempt a skydive whilst being a Mum either - just in case).

The other thing I considered was other work in the future if I were to want to quit escort work, I was working on something (that would again have been self - employed) unfortunately I've had to throw that completely on the back burner as life can be unpredictable, two or so years ago my life was going to plan and I was happy and looking forward to my future (a few personal achievements and just feeling happy with my life) but you get thrown curve balls and can end up having to fight yourself out of the snakepit due to circumstances you didn't see coming or at least you didn't see coming quite how they happened.

But in saying things like this it's still all unpredictable and we are, all of us, just trying to survive and live our lives.

When I replied to you I was thinking of what I would do in your situation but it is most definitely your decision to make. A phone call like this would trouble and disturb me and maybe actually to the police (like anjali said) they can only make a note of - have any other girls had him call, can they recognize the number and is it on their blacklist?

Yes, I think these things tend to ripple through area by area too.

I can only imagine that it may be similar to the 90's and what seemed to happened to people then, some were able to keep going for a while on their current salary through the initial stage of the difficulties, some had stretches of unemployment but managed to continue getting jobs at their previous salary at various times and some took a cut (like what they used to earn in a week they accepted to earn in a month) and they were able to stay employed throughout but, but, but you also have those who for various reasons remain relatively unaffected. What I've read but don't know is that 'entertainment' (breweries, prostitution) tend to be ok but I've no idea really where we stand.

Yep, the papers do seem get enthusiastic about bad news. I've read of something a while ago about a 'Good News' paper - it only contained positive stories, apparently it didn't sell very well! No one wants to buy a paper filled with good news!  :o

The recession will dominate for a while, like the boom did. I did read some reprint on line of newspaper articles from the build up to and during the 90's recession, I do remember the 90's recession I was old enough to be aware of things going on when it happened.

Have you thought about saving up a bit before taking on something as expensive as a private rental that seems financially difficult for you right now? I'm just wondering in case it's a bit of large leap for you just yet without any money saved up - can you really not wait a little longer, get registered, get accountant etc. be self-employed for a little while longer that may make obtaining a lease a little easier.

Yes I use Corsodyl occasionally too, I just use it for a little while every so often and then go back to my normal toothpaste. I just decide to use it every so often.

The way they are going about helping those who may need help within the industry is unpleasant to us who's experiences are not bad. I like the fact that they are concerned at all about those in need, it's just a thought but maybe they'd be better spending more time and energy on the reasons for the one's in need ending up here (that might also help those in other professions too with similar difficulties). Erm not sure I put that across well but I mean tackling something earlier on before it becomes a part of the industry. All in all I think to a point their hearts are in the right place because heaven forbid if I was one of those against their will trafficked women I'd live in hope that someone was coming to get me out.. I'm just thinking of the how? why? in the first place.. If that could be prevented..

I guess on an out-call it's not your space that you're comfortable with and know well - I don't know if they are more risky though? I read the warnings of him as well and I guess if somewhere is your space you know exactly what may be on (or under) any sheets/pillows.

I think that, yes, it is a good idea. What put me off the one page template site is that you get a very limited amount of space to express everything you need to convey of what you're about, I felt it might be to difficult for me to do personally. If I had a particular asset like a trademark of me to concentrate on then a one page template would be great as it'd draw attention to my best bit! That could be anything from a particular look, way of working etc. But either I don't have a best bit or I don't have a best bit that's noticeable enough for me to know what it is??..

I'm still liking the idea of making and managing my own site now but then I've yet to attempt it and may decide it's something I don't enjoy doing so I would then look for an alternative like what you're offering. At the moment I'm trying to sort out and organize everything else in my life first before adding escort work into the mix but it's just not happening as I'd hoped so escort work is something I want but I'm very far away from as there are other things I actually need first before I can make any moves in that direction whether it be an inexpensive/free site or otherwise - I want other things stable first.
