Unless I'm spectacularly missing the point here, the punter walked because the OP didn't look like her pictures and therefore was not what he was expecting, not because she was too big or too small per se. Has everybody else (bar Clover and Escort38 as far as I can see) failed to spot this, or is the neverending quest to blame everything on the punter no matter what which seems to be becoming endemic here  just easier?

If I was about to buy a blue car and when I arrived to collect it the one they gave me was orange I'd say thanks, but that isn't what I'd asked for. I'm sorry you're upset Sadie and I'm sure you feel horrible, but if your pictures aren't representative this is going to happen now and again and we can't seriously expect somebody to part with a large sum of money and shag somebody he doesn't fancy just out of gallantry (and if I'd been bodily shoved out of the door I wouldn't have been anywhere near as polite, and I certainly wouldn't have apologised). What punters look like has nothing to do with anything, and we all know that perfectly well - we aren't the ones paying.

I had two tellings off in a week about a month ago for being smaller than my pictures; I've dropped nearly two stone since February when I last did some pictures and as a result I've had to cobble some recent ones together sharpish. I've made mention of it in my ads and to anybody who asks on the phone since then, and nobody's walked but there was one bloke who definitely wasn't happy when he first saw me because he was expecting a curvy size 12 and didn't get one, and he had every right not to be.

Sadie I know you can't magic up new pictures out of thin air, but you can alter your ads so they're truthful, at least. You'll feel less under pressure yourself and even if it puts a few off it will attract others, and it may well avoid this happening again.
You have lovely sheep.

Yes looks like Ive misread this. I thought it was about a perceived difference not an actual difference in appearance and about the guy using that as an excuse to be unpleasant.  I certainly don't make a haabit of blaming clients for everything that goes wrong and I.wasnt so on this occaision.

Well I don't want to be harsh either, but there's a fine line between us all being sympathetic and supportive (which is what we're here for) or doing the online equivalent of putting the kettle on and getting the Kitkats out and actually being unhelpful just to make somebody feel better, which I think some of this is. It's incredibly counterproductive to have misleading ads and I was mortified when I got questioned about mine - I think that like an idiot I assumed nobody would mind me being smaller and I was wrong, and I'd be the same if it was lying about age or anything else.

I had to drop my AGE for similar reasons... I don't show my full face in pics, and when people were seeing me and going "you're too young" and "but I wanted a MILF/mature lady/etc" I had to rethink how honest I wanted to be about my age!! (Yes, I thank my genetics, but it doesn't help in this image-strong business...!)

To me it wasn't clear in the OP whether or not the photos were up to date or not, she said she'd put on weight but hadn't said whether that was since her photos had been taken, or not.

If her figure has changed significantly since then it's obvious new photos are going to solve the problem, and prevent wasting everyone's time in future.

I think he was not in the wrong at all if you didn't look after your health as you said and put on weight what do you expect? You can't expect him to be happy booking someone he isn't going to get on with, he is the customer and has the right to expect you to be the slim girl in the pic as you advertised other wise that is false advertising. Also to tell him that he would have to pay a cancellation fee of £20.00, why should he when you had a pic of yourself smaller than you are, if he had messed you about with no explanation then apply the fine.

If he was very rude to you fair enough but it seems he was very reasonable baring in mind that he travelled to see you and wasn't happy, we can't have it both ways. Put yourself in his shoes you had booked an escort, travelled to see him thinking he was good looking and had a six pack etc. and he turned out to be a couple of stone overweight and not really a looker I am sure you wouldn't want to continue the booking.

You are also very lucky that he didn't lash out at you for shoving him out the door, there are men that would have done that. There is nothing wrong in gaining weight but in this job if the client has pics of you looking one way and books you to see you looking the opposite of course there is going to be a level of disappointment, at least he didn't hurl abuse at you for wasting his time.

Sorry if I sound like I am being harsh I just think you was in the wrong. It isn't nice having a walkout but if it is down to your profile showing you to be a slim girl then expect clients not to be happy seeing a heavier girl when they meet you, that's the way some of them viewing profiles see things.

I think everyone needs to slow down and be a bit clearer.

Half a stone I wouldn't have thought would make that much difference, surely?Yes you should keep photos up to date and as accurate as possible, but obviously weight can fluctuate, and that kind of weight can be lost in a month or two anyway. I've had times when I've been 8-10lbs lighter than the photos on my site, and times when I've been a couple of lbs over. If I'm significantly different I'll get new photos taken, and in the meantime mention to clients that I'm slightly slimmer or slightly curvier than that shown, it's only fair.

It depends on the OP's height. I'm only 5 foot so half a stone is very noticeable on me. Plus where on her body the weight went could also contribute to her looking significantly different, I.e if she put it all on her hips she could look a dress size different.

Also depends on build too, I'm not terribly tall but do have an ability to look slimmer than my weight and even the label number implies.

The bit I bolded is not about you as I think you know already it is hypothetically speaking. No where in my post did I say you were ugly or a huge blob I haven't got a pic of you to make that assumption, I am saying if you went to meet a client who had shown a pic of himself being slim but in reality was bigger and not as attractive as he had told you, you wouldn't be happy.

You said you had put weight on it could just be on your face, shoulders boobs, hips I don't know but you see yourself everyday and note the gain in weight and might not see it as significant amount but someone going by your profile pic and then meeting you to see you have gained weight may see a totally different person. You probably haven't gained that much but for the client to say you have is proof you have gained enough to make him change his mind about booking you.

The bit in your post where you say you have a cancellation fee of £20 is what I am talking about. If the client has clearly messed you about that is okay but if you have not mentioned your weight gain or changed your picture to reflect that then the cancellation fee does not apply. if you advertised yourself as being a size 10 and the client was not happy and thought you was a size 12 then he should not be fined for you not showing on your profile that you had gained weight that is what I am talking about.

I am not knocking you I am just letting you know that we can be wrong and there is no harm in letting you know, yes I know it hurts to be knocked back especially if we are not feeling at our best but sugar coating everything and not addressing the bad things isn't always right either.

Hello nice to meet you :)

im not slim im a size 16 (ok creeping up to a an 18 on some days  ::) ) but i have that on my profile and all my pics are recent, i do some every 3 weeks, and yes I am bigger built than most escorts in the area, but there are alot of guys who like some meat on the bone! and ive always been complimented on my pics being accurate.

i would love to lose weight tho and tone up but medical conditions make that harder for me than most, so my mission is not to put weight on lol  ;D

but no matter what size you are, the right advertising/descriptions and of course pics are what will get you bookings

I thought I read that in your post saying you told him there was a cancellation fee of £20.  My apologise if I read it on someone else post and thought it was yours. This site is a way to let off steam and you did that but I think I have to say what I think and be sympathetic at the same time too without just putting all the blame on your client. I'd expect and want people to give me a good talking to if I had done something that was partly my fault too so I could address it and not behave the same way again.

Yes it is very deflating in this job where customers will use any excuse to pull out of a booking, we owe it to ourselves to try and be as accurate as we can be on our profile just to avoid mischief makers pulling a fast one because as in your case it cost you your fee and also made you feel insecure about your weight too.
