Pre 2012 an escort friend used to use only AW and VS she did really well out of VS and happily paid her ?40 a month she had a break and come back recently and placed an ad with VS and as well as being more expensive with payable add ons it was a nightmare of tossers phoning and no genuine punters at all.

VS is now very expensive and IMO a total waste of money.

Like every other escort advertiser they've gotten busier and GREEDIER and the more they charge more their customer service goes in the bin and you are no longer important to them.

A couple of years ago I got the offer of a months free advertising which came with all the bells and whistles which according to VS would have cost me hundreds for the month but I thought why not as its free..

All I got were idiots constantly phoning and blocking my phone from more genuine callers and my regulars.

I would NEVER advertise with VS again even if it was free, I've also seen on forums VS has a bad reputation for bait and switch etc.

Overpriced, rubbish and not fit for purpose IMO

I'll describe what I get;

When I go onto the Escorts section of VS I get a full page window over the top of the ads directing the person onto some sort of other 'contact' site.

Once I've removed this when I click onto any Escort advert there's a banner ad to the side of the Escort details which advertises phone chat. This appears on every Escort's profile/details page.

The banner is linked to a mature chat website page.

Thats what I am getting now, but it isn't what I got on Tuesday when I posted about it, it was directly on top of my ad. But yes this is exactly the same as what has happened yesterday and today

VS what have you got to say about that then?

Sorry above post was meant to have my reply on it, yes that's what I'm getting today and yesterday but the day I posted about it it was when I clicked on my actual ad, the ad came up.

You are so right, this is my final advert with them, you do get masses of calls from absolute time wasters, they do clog up your line preventing genuine interested real life clients from getting through and they also actually spoli my mood and make me have a terrible phone manner. I am not bothering with them anymore, they don't even have the decency to take on board that they are encouraging phone pests or diverting custom away from us, its no way at all to treat customers who pay a lot for not that much in return.

I only have two issues with Viva:

- the repost time on my ad keeps shifting forward, so if I bump it at 3pm, within 3 days it starts bumping at 7pm! This isnt the multi repost, its the ?9.99 x2 repost (and I dont see why I should pay ?20 more per week when the basic feature is more then enough for me - when it actually functions as it should...)
- Ive just gone to my ad and all my pics have been removed! No email or notification why and this has happened a few times in the past month. I usually get emailed stating that a/1 pic have been removed but I didnt get anything this time and they have removed every single pic..... :FF

Can someone please tell me why I am not able to place the link to my website using my iPad or  iphone
I was told today it can only be done using a laptop which is f..... Ridiculous
It used to be the case that you could add the link via the add on your phone / laptop

Not to mention that I have been charged for a non existent link and was told they can't add it to my add I need to do it via my lap top which I don't randomly carry around with me

So I have a add with no website link that I am paying for but I can't add it
I mean Who carrys a bloody laptop with them in this day and age

I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble getting through to us wishlist. I've double checked and our lines were definitely open until 7pm on the day you called, so I'm not sure why you heard that message. Please don't hesitate to call us earlier if your advert hasn't yet been approved.

Would you be able to PM me your details, Gracious, so I can take a deeper look into what has happened for you?

I'm sorry to hear you have been having trouble adding your link to your advert ParisB. You certainly should be able to modify your advert from any device. Would you be able to PM me your details also so I can take a deeper look and contact you with a resolution?

I didnt reaise you could time the repost, what happens if all the advertisers want the same time /

That would never happen because we all work different times of the day so we would all want our ads reposted at different times (ideally at the time we are available from or just before). With the 9.99 pound repost, its supposed to repost at the time you pay for it: so if you purchase it at 9am on a Monday, it should repost at 9am and 9pm every day for 7 days, but thats not the case - by Wed/Thurs its reposting at 12pm/12am!! I was on the phone with Viva today for 50 mins and one person is telling me its based on the time you pay for the repost feature yet Finny emailed me saying its based on the time my ad is published.....

Not only that, but over the past week Ive gone to my ad and all my pics have been removed. It took them 25 mins in the phone conversation to sort it out (my pics appear in the listing but when you click on my ad theres no pics whatsoever) and again, no one can tell me why this is happening to my ad even though I know (and the person I spoke with confirmed) that my pics do not breach their T and C. Its now resulted me in having to have a second ad and considering shutting down my profile which is a shame because I actually do better on VS then I do on AW....

I think viva are trying to accommodate everyone at the same time in the name of business. I'll need to ask a client again if he sees any thing as he didn't before.

My advert was automatically renewed! I definitely didn't tick any box asking for that. I only work a week at a time, then take time off so the advert is useless (especially as I tour and won't be returing to that town anytime soon.)

It was only ?9.99 but I'm annoyed. I deleted the advert (I used to keep them and repost them if I revisited an area) so it's no longer live. Then I went through and checked out what happens when you place an advert - thinking perhaps there was a box to tick if you did NOT want to renew it (sort of like their sneaky "protect your phone number" option.) No, it's not an opt-out thing. That said, the final payment page where one ticks that box is new. I don't know what it looked like when I posted the advert and paid two weeks ago.

Everyone should be careful that they haven't ticked that box!

How do you email Vivastreet on a Sunday please? X
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.
