I've obtained some very good regular clients from my VS advert.

However the flip side is that whenever I advertise with VS I notice a definite increase in enquiries which just shout "How much", or "Are you open", "Available?", or even "Hey" as their only and opening words which may be via text, email or actual phone call. Result is I end up feeling very much disrespected and bullied.

Not sure how VS can alter this, perhaps if their site was more professional, less 'free adult dating'. I don't know, but combined with their prices I've always come away with a sense of hitting myself with a birch twig each time I advertise with them.

In one escort's advert, which I believe is still live on the Vivastree website, there is a video showing a woman performing oral sex on a man.  As many of us are saying, Viastreet are "INSERT RUDE WORD HERE".

Exactly there showing blatant porn on some ads but are being awkward over reasonable escort photos and declining the ads. Plus if your advertising in the escort section there should not be pop up porn of bordnhpusewives in your area or whatever it is its wrong.

I haven't been on this thread for a while as I stopped using VS due to the lack of quality clients.

I am cutting back on touring and working from home a week a month and VS is okay in my local area.

A few things seem to have changed though. My local area actually covers more than ONE place, which would involve a change of location.

Do VS no longer offer this option?

What do you now do if you want to change location and how much does it cost?

It used to be quite expensive, as I recall. About ?30 but was only ?10 to have my ad in my local area.

I am guessing as usual that it depends what area people are in but in general, for ladies who use VS AND change location, how is the pricing compared to say, a year ago?

VS eliminated the autonomously-operated change of location facility in August of last year in preference for a promised touring option facility.  This feature is yet to materialise, however.
There is a sales rep-managed change of location facility, but a) it is pricey (normally ?70+ for 15 days, as far as I recall) and b) it requires you to buy all elements of your VS advertising (multi-reposting and VIP-carouselling, for instance, plus the advert itself) through the rep (rather than doing so autonomously via the website).  Failure to do so results in the termination of your access to the sales rep (which means, for instance, the termination of your access to the change of location facility).
The alternative to sales rep-managed advertising is to buy adverts in each location that you visit.  This is what many of us, including me, now do.  You are then free to promote your advert autonomously with any of the different promotional features should you choose to do so.
As you may have gathered, adverts are now published instantly and VS staff can no longer see or access them.  As you may have also gathered, many of us are experiencing obstacles in having our adverts published owing to issues with VS's publishing rules.

I find it's cheaper to buy a add for the week and cancel it when I leave even if I'm only there for 3/4 days
The most I pay is ?20 for two adds in one week and I always get work from
It ,so it's worth it for me

Leeds was ?9.99 for the week & Leicester was ?6.99

The previous adds were ?20 -?30 month more if you were in London & South East and if your only somewhere for a week it wasn't worth it
I don't do any of the reposting / extra stuff like website link as when a guy calls he  gets an auto text with the link on it

I thought I could get away with the VIP and publication for less buying weekly but it works out more expensive. So stuck to the deal offered. I'll have a re think about it next month. Cutting down my advertising a lot.

Thank goodness for regulars.

When you say the adverts are now published instantly are many people having problems do you mean nobody at viva looks at the ad it just wont publish if the automatic system dont like your ad?

1) Since the introduction of instant publishing at VS, a number of forum-members have shared their experiences of advert-rejection.
2) Yes.  A VS rep tells me that one element of our adverts causing publication-rejection is use of the pound symbol.  Other than this, as you might imagine, in the event of advert-rejection, we can still call VS.  They cannot see or access the advert, but may still be able to offer a solution (and to me, as a business, they simply cannot leave us stranded, so to speak)

Having a price listed in the write up will get it rejected. I deleted the price that they told us to write in(or even wrote in themselves) the advert, and it was instantly accepted. Can still have prices in the little table the provide.

So if you have a problem with your advert and call them up they cannot access your advert anyway to look at it to you what is wrong with it how odd!!
So they dont like you putting prices in your advert but this stops people that have a budget.

There is a table containing your rates viewable by anyone who looks at the advert.

They can access your advert, you need to provide the ad ID number, which is viewable when you go into your account and select the ad.

For all Vivastreet's faults I have to reiterate that I would be in trouble if they didn't exist.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I placed an ad on Vivastreet for the first time in over a year.  I put the lack of calls (apart from the usual handful of timewasters) down to it's uselessness as an advertising medium.  Today, while chatting with what turned out to be another timewaster, I find that my Gatwtick postcode is showing on their site as Dorking!!! FFS! How glad I am that I didn't pay for any premium services.

Vivastreet, you are officially a waste of space.  How on earth do you put Gatwick down as Hockwood, Dorking Surrey  Not even a hint of Sussex.  Get it right!

Just checked. Vivastreet not likely to be any good in Gatwick. What you need to find is the closest Surrey postcode. If you type in escorts Gatwick to Google Vivastreet is page 5 but in Surrey Page 1.
