How to get more work in London?
« on: 07 December 2013, 12:28:11 pm »
Hi Girls,

I just wanted to get some advise on how to potentially get more bookings in London. I am only offering outcalls and charge ?200 per hour for outcalls in Central London. I have been getting 1 or 2 bookings per week and have only been advertising on Adultwork so far.

I have profesional photos and I am British Asian, so in a niche market as such and provide mostly GFE services. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks x

Hey hun, I think you should knock your prices a little as this is out of the price range of most punters. Asian girls are of course very popular and in demand. Why don't you try ?150 an hour for a little while? You are sure to get many more bookings. I thinks the ?200 and over price range is for girls who have pornstar credentials. Would love to know how it goes and what you decide to do. Good luck!

Hi girls,

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and for your suggestions. I will try to knock my prices down, might put it as a Special Xmas offer or something!

Not being able to offer I calls is a major hindrance!

Agains thanks.

Yes, it can be. On the other hand, a big chunk of the money isn't going to pay someone else's mortgage.

Reducing your price might get you more work. It might also get you more money. Trying it as an limited time offer is one good idea  and you can use the time to think of good reasons why someone should pay more for your marketing. If you are charging significantly more than others offering similar things, you do need them.

Oh yes and forgot to mention another very important point. Most meetings that take place are incall meetings. You do really need to have an incall location. Then you will be able to offer  1/2 hour sessions as well. xx

Whilst it's certainly true that incalls are more frequent than outcalls, not everybody wants to be forking out the sort of amounts that setting up an incall base in London costs; the OP might only be working part time and if that's the case a regular hotel incall day would be far more affordable for her.

I agree with the comments on upping your advertising; Adultwork is a popular site in London and ?200 for a one hour outcall isn't that extreme and I know people who charge that for incall, but no, it's not really a premium site (quite apart from how it's prone to falling over) and you really need to get some broader ads up that more punters used to paying those sorts of rates will see. A website ought to be on your list too, and you can find out plenty about that with a few forum searches.

?200 for an outcall isn't even that bad- I think that the bigger issue is not offering incalls! Is there any way you could do incalls? Only a fraction of my bookings comes from outcalls..  But hey, there's plenty of outcall only agencies so there's enough demand- maybe google some of their (outcall only agencies') numbers to see where they advertise? And for sure try the free directories and sites that come up.

Another way to blag the price for outcalls would be to say, ?150 for example plus taxi fare and make it clear on the phone etc. so you're in the searches but people know that it's gonna total more with the cab fare. Good luck! XxX

?200 for an outcall in London is very reasonable but many clients want in calls which is the problem, from experience never go below 200 no matter what you are offering and especially if you have a niche market :)

It would be better to spend a bit more on better adverts and pictures etc.. my experience with adultwork was hopeless,  they are all just cheap sleaze bag undesirables on there  :o

I think ?200 an hour is ok for an outcall but if your finding it isn't getting you much work then reducing them a little should defo help.

Or of you'd like a wee boost, perhaps booking a hotel for a day once a week or a couple of times a month would get you a good chunk of money. You could make a grand a day if you work really hard that day.

.. including you, when you were?  ;D

AW is very far from perfect, but not everyone has the same experience as you. If everyone you were in contact with was a problem, I'd say it was probable that you either didn't give it long enough or you need to consider that the other thing they all had in common was that they were after you.

Ha, I think that depends where you are. Where I live there's hills and cliffs so not good, but if you're somewhere that's flat as a pool table I think it's a good idea :).
