How much more you are willing to pay for security?

Currently first time I'm thinking of moving to live in-work flat. I haven't had bad experiences with obsessive clients yet but I'm still very worried about how to protect my identity when living in this kind of flat. Where I live right now letters and parcels are just left near my door and I order so much stuff online!

I was thinking of moving to this one place (in London) which would be super secure and everything that I need would have in that flat but I recently found out that it's more expensive that I thought at first and it's like 350pcm more than flats in central london.
So now I'm having this dilemma, how much more I could pay for security? Would I be willing to pay that if I know the flat would definitely work? And I could settle there for 2 years? I have huge fatigue problems right now so I just want to settle and have live in-work place where I could not worry about anything. 

I'm really into saving much and I do not like to spend much of my money, that's where the problem comes from. I am always thinking of ways to save. That's why I'm having this dilemma, although I can earn months rent in a week even living in the more expensive place.

What would be your advice/decision? Maybe anyone has done the same?

Depends on the layout. If they're by your door can you check before a client arrives? I'm pretty paranoid and check my mail often as royal mail deliveries aren't always predictable. If it's deliveries at random times that might mean a bit more checking I guess. Do you get £350 more peace of mind per month from the more expensive place?

I never had an obsessive turn up. I think it's wise not to let on you live there, clients will ask in passing, but they have zero right to know.

Is the post delivered outside front door or communal door that your worried about?
A friend has a “Ring” doorbell system. She gets videos of anyone approaching her front door and or acting weird. And can talk to them through it. She never does. But it’s peace of mind.

If you’re main concern is your mail that gets delivered, why don’t you order it in a fake name? For online deliveries you can use any name. And for real mail such as bank statements etc, just opt out of having them sent to you, go paperless. You can do it all online these days so you don’t need anything by post really.

Can't order mail with fake name because if I wouldn't be at home, they wouldn't let me to pick it up from post office.

The thing is that building is very secure that way that it's massive and has short let's and long term flats there. I know couple escorts are using this building because it's so discreet.
Reception holds yours parcels.

But then I know people are just working from their normal flats and it's not that bad. So I am thinking how that would be possible to hide everything from outside of your flat.

For the post issue I have a communal (unlocked) mail thing but it is inside the locked front door.  I pop down stairs before I put my work clothes on and have a quick rummage for anything with my name on. I wouldnt work anywhere where the main entrance isn't locked but for post and identifying things I would just check before bookings. 350 can be alot depending on your situation or a tiny amount to pay for peace of mind

You can get amazon stuff and eBay and most on line stuff sent to a post office or local shop
Phone bills water council tax bank accounts can all be on line
I get hardly any mail at my house as I do everything on line and parcels either go to the post office or local shop or my parents
