I've mentioned it ages ago but instead softcups(amazon)  are great combined with a sponge... A belt and braces approach! I can't feel it at all when it's in.

Last time my belt and braces for my heavy day was 2 pieces of sponge. Number one bigger, topped up with number 2 smaller. I thought this way blood stops on sponge 1 in case there's a lot and - only if there's a problem - goes into sponge 2.

It was a regular 1 hr booking of course. Possibly more in my head than anything else but I felt much more at easy knowing I'm all "sponged up":)

I swear by Beppy wet sponges. A bit pricey but worth it. Use lube when putting it in and put it quite far up. Don't try and remove it straight after client, wait about 20 minutes then do it and don't panic. Relax whilst taking it out because sometimes it can feel a bit stuck.

Is this beppy sponge reliable for heavy flow? I never used it before and I have very heavy period so I am a bit worried if there is a leak.

I've had leaks during very heavy flow, they are 3 out of 5 absorbency-wise I think. How you position them is incredibly important, too, otherwise you end up with half of the sponge completely clean.

I've tried and had very small leak. Thankfully the client didn't  notice. Took 2 days off though I got too worried and really didn't want to stress myself during every booking plus saving myself from the embarrassing moment that I had twice in the past. I think I'll stick to normal sponge as they are kind of thicker but so uncomfortable and hard to take out.

I used to have very heavy flow for 5 or 6 days. Once I started working I tried taking the pill back to back and that did the trick at first. On my third or fourth missed period I noticed some spotting which I got away with. After that little scare I was fitted for a diaphragm and used that as a precaution. It would never have been enough on its own though. I guess sponges could work just as well and are maybe more convenient.

A while ago I took a break for a year or so for personal reasons and came off the pill completely to give my body a rest. The weird thing is I didn't have a single period during that time. Typical isn't it! My doctor thought it might have been caused by my low weight at the time.

I've noticed a strange phenomena which never seems to fail ...
For some reason on the day my period arrives I am either always dead or men just ask for Blow jobs. Not that I am complaining as I am pretty heavy on the first day, but it does make me pause and think everytime!

Wonder if its some kind of chemical telepathy going on?  :D

Anyway, I prefer this than feel guilty for turning away work.

Do you mention that on your ads or you tell them over the phone?

You made me jealous!  ;D
When I am on my period, my phone explodes and if I decide to work and use sponge for some reason the guys with the biggest packages come who can have rough sex for whole 1 hour without any problem!

I call that luck! Hope it continues this way for you. Not using sponge and not losing money. Such a blessing  ;D

Really confused about this. On website it says wearable for up to 8 hours. Does this mean I can only wear one sponge a day? Or does it mean I have to change the sponge for a new one every 8 hours? X

The latter, you just need to change it after 8 hours for a new one. Given their price though I tend to just use one during working hours only and use a pad the rest of the time.

I have used the wet Beppy but find they are hard to insert but handy when desperate for cash.  Approx. day 3 I can be heavy though so I have to just avoid vaginal sex then.  I offer half hour bj with massage or half hour bj with anal instead.  Seems to help me tick over.

Depending on how delicate I am feeling I often may not work for a couple of days during the period as I am too sensitive to touch around then ....

Luckily at my age they only last 4-5 days ....  The trouble is they will arrive every 3 weeks just recently something I really don't need the joys of perimenopause!

Aren't those Beppy sponges just made of the same stuff as cheap bath sponges you get in the supermarket? I've met escorts who just buy a cheap ones from pound shop or whatever & cut them to shape.

Yep... Ive used the baby sponges cut to shape before and only tried actual beppys recently... Was surprised at how they feel the very same!
I know some might not find it ideal but it's So much cheaper and when rinsed/sterilised with hot water it's fine for me anyway :)
