Can you sleep through snoring?
« on: March 21, 2010, 03:21:28 PM »
So last night on an overnight, don't think I got an ounce of sleep...but regardless I was still happy. The snoring, was unfortunently driving me up the wall LOL. Its the equivelent of taking your finger nails and scraping them across a chalkboard.

I was thinking about reaching for my headphones, but I kept saying, "I'm being compensated to sleep arm in arm, and endure an entire night of snoring". I have never been able to sleep through it, and there's been times I've left the bedsides of 'fuck buddies' due to it!

I think I'm going to bed now LOL.

Did you try just touching his forhead lightly, or maybe turning him a little?  This works pretty well, not that I'd know ANYTHING about such things!

Elbow to some part of their anatomy? Lol. Used to do that to my ex when he'd snore. He'd wake up, look round confused and I'd smile sweetly.. Or, since the guys paying you :P could try ear plugs, kept in a handy to reach to place? x

Tapping a snoring person is like sprinkling water on fire...it'll go down just a bit, but then it flares right back up!

I dont know how, but eventually I fell asleep twice at some point...but was re-awakened. I cant understand how the spouses of heavy snorers get used to it LOL.

But he was a sweet guy, so Im not picking on him. Thats for ANYONE who snores! I know once you cover the nose (with clothes pins LOL) and breathe through the mouth, that solves the issue. I wonder if people who snore realize it because they can snore with seconds of closing their eyes  :o

Argh, I hate that! Especially when it's someone really lovely such as my fella whose snoring is so inhumanly loud that I have no choice but to sleep with earplugs in (and sometimes, they don't even work and I have to go through and sleep on the couch). If I were being paid to sleep next to a giant snoreface, I suppose I wouldn't mind so much  ;D
