Glasgow support group
« on: November 29, 2016, 11:30:15 AM »
Hey all!

A few of us sex workers who are based in Glasgow came together as a support group under Umbrella Lane (more to come soon). We are regularly in touch and always offer each other support.

We are looking to expand our circle with like minded ladies and thus decided to meet up every thursday. Its a great way to make new friends and be there for one another in such an isolated industry.

If you are interested in coming along, please PM me for my phone number. x

sex worker meet up in Glasgow

Being a sex worker is often pretty isolating, given that most of us don't tell our families and friends what we do. So through Umbrella Lane, a new peer-support service in Glasgow, we want to support some of our sex working members to host a social night for those in the industry. A few of us already meet regularly and go for dinner, a drink or a coffee, and just generally hang out. But we hope to maybe also start sharing skills some weeks by doing peer-led workshops in things like massage, reiki, pole dancing or anything else we have skills in between us and could share to those of interested!

We are going to just start by meeting each week, somewhere social but not formal and just keep meeting each week in the same place so if other workers want to join they know where we are. The more the absolute merrier!!!

We don't want to post times and location on here so to find out details please just send us an email on [email protected] or contact me (Lily) on +447583067759 (please don't call from withheld number) or umbrella lane or adele (posted above) on SAAFE for details.

hope you can come along <3 UL xx

I've tidied up a bit since we don't need the same thing posted in multiple places on the forum, folks - you've already started threads in the projects section too so there's no need to let it get too spammy.

I've also Stickied this so it's easy for people to spot :)
