Hi curves and lipstick I'm sorry you feel this way I've been working on of for over ten years but have had gaps that have lasted years where I haven't done it .  It sounds to me like you need a few months of to treat yourself to some me time and decide what you want to do. Have you been working every day  without a break? if so this might be the reason for you feeling like you do along with the blues. I work three or four days and week and only see one or two clients on that day and leave a long gap in between so I can do other things. I also have a part time job that I do in the mornings . If you need to chat you can pm me  x

Hi Curves,
As someone whose experienced burnout in the past, I totally understand how you feel.. I felt so "over it" I had to take a really long break from the escort world and have only recently come back on board, and now work completely differently than I used to... I've also learnt to be a lot more selfish lol. I think it's different for everyone but for me personally, my burn out wasn't from doing too much / volume issue but rather an accumulation of constantly trying to "over-deliver" my service, dealing with clients who I really inwardly despised, and not putting myself first enough.. If I were you I'd take some time out, if you can, to gain some perspective on where you want to be / want to do. My break certainly cost me financially, but I don't regret it one bit compared to the sanity it saved me, money really isn't everything.. Big hugs X

I have done some hard jobs like care work for twelve hour shifts in the past but for some reason this sex work can leave me more tired. I don't know why. Sometimes I miss working with other people it can be a bit lonely.

I think it's the intimacy - physical and emotional. When you're providing personal care, it's obviously intimate for that service user, but not for you. In sex work, you're using the body parts that we're taught to believe are the most private, and letting somebody else have access to them.

I think that's why I can do an endless parade of quickie blowjobs without feeling the slightest bit tired, but a long job with lots of oral both ways and fucking leaves me really tired. If it's been a good session with an orgasm or two for me, then obviously I enjoy it, but I do feel wiped out afterwards. I can't just book another one straight after, I need at least half hour to recover.

I feel that I'm experiencing some sort of "burn out".  Some posts on this thread are so true, I could not believe it.  ::)

I have been on tour for 11 days straight and I feel completely exhausted. I am going home tomorrow and really looking forward to a few days off without even having to look at my work phone.

Having said that I know I will be jonesing for a booking by the 3rd day!

I am just so fucking tired and fed up. I never thought sex work would be this draining and mentally damaging. Roll on December. I have just had ENOUGH.

Guided meditation and mindfulness are just amazing tools!
my gp suggested to me after anxienty and stress disorder... i m doing since 1 month and honestly is very helpful!
i never liked `lazy` activity like yoga...i always think that was sooooo boring!
after suggestion from my gp and health issue i didn t have choice so i started!
many business women/man do meditation...try to google it!

you can start with headspace apps, it is free for 10 days...
then you can subscribe or not, you really do not need to spend money to meditate...
do regularly, you will see results!

xx
i really hope that it is help...

a vacation, can be a good tools as well!
without checking email/phone... no technologies!

If I feel extra stressed I take a couple days off or half a week.  I also book a nice massage or an Indian Head sesh etc. to help relax.  Works wonders.
