Outfit advice?
« on: 23 February 2017, 11:03:34 am »
Have a dinner date with a new high class client. Want to look outstanding but not trashy. I was thinking to go out and buy something new but should I just stick to a nice lace jumpsuit, it covers up a lot but leaves the legs on show. It also has to be comfy and something I can wear with whatever complicated undies I'll have on lol. Any advice?

Little black dress, surely. Where are you going, do you know? I'd go for something with a hint of cleavage, but not too much.

I agree, you can't do better than a LBD. Other colours can work too if they suit you better. The important thing is to keep it simple. Show as much cleavage as you can while remaining classy ... enough to show what's on offer without offering it on a plate. The length should be above the knee. Decent height heels will make your legs look longer so your dress needn't be ridiculously short. Don't go bare legged either, especially in winter. That can look trashy. Black stockings should be fine.

My old mum used to say either show abit of cleavage or show abit of leg but not both together! One is sexy, both together looks tarty. So yes an LBD but decide on longer length with some boob showing or shorter but with boobs covered nicely.

Oh I'm glad to read this! Your mum would love my grandma.
LBD and either legs or boobs approach. Nice heels but nothing outrageous. Either strong lips or strong eyes, nails nicely done.

Good thing about LBD is they mostly have a zip in the back so you can offer the guy the thrill of "unwrapping" you and it's sensual plus it's not complicated.

If you go for boobs then take a jacket or a shawl or something. In case you end up somewhere very conservative (you never know) you'll be able to blend in.

Thanks all. It has been quite warm so think I'll go bare legged. I thik my legs are one of my best features, everything else will be covered up with a hint of cleavage.

I bought a one shoulder dress from asos recently specifically for dinner dates because i become bored with clothes quickly.
keep it classy i'd always go for a simple dress and heels. i was in ted baker today and hey had some nice appropriate but form hugging dresses.

Some guys say that a lady never wears a dress above the knee. Have a chat with the guy and suss out what he wants. Depends on where the meeting is, to a certain extent.
