As an independently-working prostitute, I do not feel that my position was adequately represented on this show. This includes even the contribution from the spokesperson from the English Collective of Prostitutes.

In my opinion, sexual interaction between consenting adults involving payment of some form should be fully legal, the matter of payment concerning no-one but the transacting parties.  This is my own position (and I believe it is the position of many other prostitutes).  This position, however, was voiced only briefly by a speaker with no obvious pro-prostitution agenda.

Lastly, in regard to the purchase of sex being a criminal offence (as it is in some places, as we know), how crass! That is my view at least.

Do you feel that your position as a prostitute was adequately represented in this debate?
