Emailed me through AW asking for a 1 hour outcall that evening, said I couldn't make it that night so arranged for two days in advance.
Emailed him the night before to confirm, everything fine. Text him in the morning as I got ready, no reply. Then he emailed shortly after asking if everything was ok as he thought he'd have heard from me by now. Asked him if he'd received my text, he said no, then emailed again apologising and sent me his number again as he mistyped a digit. Seemed like a genuine mistake.
Arrived at his building, rang the intercom for 141, no answer. Rang again, a guy answered. I said it's Melissa for Dave, he said he wasn't Dave and there was a very awkward pause between us both.
Rang his number, he answered and I said I'm outside your building, what's the number again. He said "It's 1141, sorry I nipped to Tesco's to buy some condoms as I realised I didn't have any, I'm just coming round the corner now I'll be two minutes".
Completely different person on the end of the phone and gave a different door number. Rang him again, phone switched off.
99% of the time I take bookings via email and give my number out on the day. I almost always turn down an outcall if they have no feedback and I do turn a lot down anyway, but all his communication was so genuine and normal that I never even thought twice. No silly requests, very polite, followed all my procedures.
I know the area like the back of my hand, there is a tesco over the road, he told me how to get through the gates and said he had a parking space if I needed one.
I'm absolutely certain he lives in one of the flats. There's several buildings with hundreds of flats looking out over the courtyard and the entrance. I can't shake the feeling that he might have been watching me from one of the windows.
