Getting no clients and burning out

Hi,

I am sorry if this sounds repetitive but I am struggling with getting work. I only offer outcalls by the way.

I've started working last summer using AW, backpages and Craigslist (I know ha) but recently I have received absolutely no messages from either timewasters or actual potential clients.

I've tried doing special offers, changing my profile up and adding new pictures but nothing seeems to work. It doesn't help that I've received feedback recently where someone made an unathororised booking and  said I cancelled, although that was a lie that I disputed.

I have made a website but don't have the money for pictures or advertising so cannot launch.

My question is; is there anything I could do more or is this something others are going through this period themselves?

I'm having an awful ridiculously slow April. I'm in central London.

Also: Craigslist is an awful place to advertise. Start advertising someplace else. Backpage London has lost a lot of traffic since it's erotic services got closed down in the US. then w have Brexit, easter holidays and now... elections. It's a "tricky time" for someone starting in the industry.

I dont think AW is good to advertise outcalls only. I think man who are looking for outcalls call mostly agencies. And now is very bad time with all the political events going on. So I would suggest (I know most of the girls will disagree) to try to work with some agency at least until the dry period is gone and you consider doing incalls. I know agency might not be the best but its ok for short time and some extra cash. At least from my own experience it can always save you for some time. Good luck.

Sweet Angel, when work is slow it's slow for everybody, that is: indies and agencies. When indie work is slow agencies are even slower, I'm not saying she should discard agencies but a) She won;t be able to screen guys (which is not safe) and b) As she's doing outcall only she's not going to be that much busier.

Re. your website - just take some selfies or get a friend to help you out taking some photos? If you've sorted out the domain name and hosting you don't need to pay for any advertising? Reciprocal banner ads will get you listed on several directories free of charge, and good SEO will mean clients find your site via Google.

But, you only need to look at the 'slow' thread to see that many SWs are very quiet at the moment. Things are unlikely to improve much before the general election IMO.

I have had plenty of outcall enquiries it did take a while to build up, even though I already had some regulars from working incall for many years.

I had before AW only for outcalls and it was  slow. Now when I offer both I have enough outcalls enquiries. Thats what I meant.

I get that April has been slow but I haven't been receiving any traffic lately since January which makes me believe it's me more than the circumstances of the month.

As for Craigslist, I don't advertise there anymore but did when I was new to the game.  If you don't mind me asking, do you know of any relatively cheap advertising sites that are good?

Thank you sweetangel but personally I do not like angencies. I do realise not doing incalls hinder me and I'm considering booking hotels. The only thing that worries me is that because I'm not getting messages, I don't want to waste money booking a hotel if I am not getting any clients.

I wasn't aware of that but thanks Kay, I'll launch my site then. I guess in the mean time I can take a amateur pictures myself to put on my website as it's better than nothing.

Student deviant if you look up similar workers in your area and Google their names and their telephone numbers separately you will find where it is good to advertise in your area.

If there any way for you to do incalls?  Book your own room? 

I have always had more luck with incalls than outcalls but I am in the states and figured it was because most clients wanted to protect their privacy (LE worries) and didn't want to pay for a hotel they would be using for only a few hours (unless they were staying there on business).

Write a blog stating you need a semi pro photographer ...... you will be amazed at how much onterest this will generate for you, plus you will get your photos done, you will get clients attention x

Looking at your profile, there's nothing that stands out. You could have some more photos, you could answer some more questions, for example.

But there could also be more that says why someone should book you too - at the moment, it's fairly generic 'student GFE' from someone who only does outcalls somewhere (Westminster) that has a very high daytime population, but not so many people with a handy room to have sex in.

If I was you I would try getting a hotel for a night somewhere outside of London where prices are much lower and there is less competion from other girls. That way you would be almost guaranteed to make a profit.
