Photographer/Web Designer
« on: 09 May 2017, 09:34:02 am »
Hi,

I wanted to let you know that I am a photographer who produces professional quality images at a competitive rate. I know from when I was working in the industry it was tough to find content providers who could produce images that your clients would find appealing and would treat you with respect and not take advantage of the situation.

My objective is to help out with creating content for models in a safe environment that are at a very high standard.  I have access to some of the top studios in London and have a good reputation within the industry and happy to either work at a studio or a home location (I'm pretty mobile).

My work is at a high standard and I have over 9,000 followers on Instagram which is growing by 500-700 followers a week so I can produce and help promote you on various social media sites as well.

I am also in the process of developing websites and so I am happy to help build one for you at an additional charge if interested as well.

Contact me and I can send you examples of my work.

I think most people here would be happier doing their own 'promotion'. Are you prepared to relinquish the copyright for these images if the people hiring you don't want to be plastered all over somebody else's websites and used to advertise them?

Assuming you have a website, you may post a link to it here. Apart from anything else, people are going to struggle to 'contact you' when you haven't provided any means or method for them to do so?

Hi Amy,

Thanks for feedback and yes part of the release form would be that all images are to be used exclusively by the model.  One reason that I haven't used images on here was because of similar agreements.  I am new to this site and have see how other photographers are approaching this so let me figure out a better way of selectively promoting myself without breaking any social media arrangements I have with others.  When I was running a spa the support a lot of people on here had from a website perspective was pretty minimal so I am not trying to promote anyone.  I have no desire to do this.  What I can do is just create and manage content is all.  I have no expertise or desire to be involved in anything else.

I was thinking if someone replied I would provide examples in private communications.  If that isn't the best then I'll approach it differently.

Another reason you haven't used images here is because the forum software is set not to allow them.

If our members are interested they need to be able to contact you, and you have provided no way for them to do this? It isn't for you to say they have to post publicly on the thread - most of us prefer to conduct our business arrangements in private.

When I said to post a link, I meant to whatever site you use to advertise yourself and the service you're offering, with prices, contact information and so on? You must have some way of getting customers - you're surely not advertising a website design service when you don't have a website?
