Yes a fair few will charge extra if it is a distance away.

Anywhere within a 20 mile radius of where I am, I charge a standard outcall rate. Anywhere further than that and its an extra ?10 every 10 miles :)

I have extra charges or minimum booking based on a mixture of time taken to get there, as well as the distance. Where I'm based a few miles can take a long time,  there's very little public transport and roads difficult to drive.
