New client visited twice in one day

Yep that's right, he visited me in the morning, stayed half an hour, paid the going rate, then called to revisit me again in the evening for another half an hour...

I could have charged him my half our rate x 2 but for the sake of fairness, I only charged him my 1 hour rate..Was I mad do you think? Or fair?

Well you did exactly what I've done in the same situation, so if you're mad than so am I.

I would have charged full rates for anybody that was hard work or took the piss, but on the occasions where a punter has returned that fast it's generally because we hit it off .

I've always charged full rate again, but I only tour and my diary is usually pretty tight. If they want the economy of buying an hour at a time, then they need to book an hour at a time.

I had this kind of situation few times. I just charged them as a new booking:)

I had it happen once as well. Saw the guy around 9 am and then lunchtime. As he already arrived for the 9am bringing me a cappuccino, he won my heart So he only paid in total my 1 hour rate but that's because he was a lot of fun.
