Hello all,

I wish I had found this site 2 weeks ago! I got scammed by an Agency called European Escorts. They took £325 for registration, shortly after, I got a call informing me I had a booking then on the day, 2 hours before, they called to say the client had an emergency situation with work and had to fly back to the States. Two weeks went by without them fulfilling the promise of a reschedule - what's worse, the women who answered the calls were always so rude and patronizing....
I can't afford a website just yet and need some work coming in to generate the necessary income to establish myself properly. I was thinking of maybe advertising in London papers. I'm Black and live in Central London - can anyone recommend a good paper to put an ad in?

If you're in London you have a lot of real agencies to choose from, look here. Punterlink removes agencies that they hear are dodgy so it should be a pretty clean list, but read my post about scam agencies (especially the bit at the bottom about things other than the registration fee scam) so you know what to look out for.

I don't know anything about papers to advertise in, but you can get started online for free. Adultwork is free (be careful, it's popular with people who try to get the better of new girls) and I've met girls who get enough work from there that they never bothered to get a website. You can create a site for free at rare-escorts or moonfruit, which some listing sites will accept. There are also a lot of sites that allow you to create a profile without having a website to link to.

I'm not sure how easy it is to place ads in the papers these days. Because of Harriet Harmen's drive to criminalise prostitution (or at the very least those who use services, in a bid to stop women being trafficked, so she says) escorts who put adverts in papers are finding it increasingly difficult to do so now. Some papers have stopped taking ads altogether because of pressure from the government. It may be worth checking your local rag to see what their stance is.

To that end I never found them that cheap anyway. And in my opinion and experience they attracted major timewasters. As long as you don't mind being endlessly asked "can I have some more details please". That soon gets on your nerves, believe me. And you have to charge lower prices than you would do on the internet. But I know it works for some ladies. It just never worked well for me.

just want to say i cant belive i been scammed.. it happened 3 months ago with escortopia.. got fed a story made the payment of 219£ an then the booking was cancelled on the day i was supposed to work.. tried calling the girl i had been speaking with was never available i called everyday an nothing.. guys an girls please please do your reserch before u join anything..
