Laundry tips for escorts?
« on: 16 August 2017, 09:26:03 am »
Just saying. I have a garden, "but" I never hang out my working lingerie / underwear on the washing line. Dry them on an air'er inside. Don,t want my neighbours talking  :)  They are too sexy by far, just to be blowing in the wind  :)  Married couple either side with kids.  PS don't want them nicked either, cost me a loads  :)

This is a good thread . The girl upstairs from me used to work to and I put my nice Ann summers bras and knickers on the line and she nicked them all . How skanky is that I mean stealing underwear come on. It wasnt territorial she just liked the look of them . I tumble dry work sheets and I have a heated airer that I use to dry lingere on . Seen as we are on the subject of lingere has anyone used those bags from Lakeland that you can put hand wash lingere in so you can machine wash them instead?

It's not really anything to do with sex work though, is it? Therefore it really belongs on a personal platform :).

Well your post is fine (and if you're determined to stick lingerie in the machine just put it in a pillowcase with a rubber band around the top although really don't put underwired bras in) and we do have work-related laundry threads already. But posts which are off topic and don't attempt to engage with or invite any discussion from other members just come over as a way for the poster to practice blogging and it isn't an appropriate use of the forum.

I'd use the cold wash cycle too :).

I have a soft laundry bag which I put my stockings and tights into because if they rub against a bra in the wash it's like instant ladder. Think I got it in Lakeland. I also use colour catcher sheets on every wash.

I use the lingerie bra bags from Lakeland.....absolute godsend. I'm a g/h cup and I can use one of them in with a normal load of washing and my bras come out perfect every time. Have done for years. I will caution though that my bras fill the bag, if you are lucky enough to get away with a whisp of lace.....it may not work as well

I hand wash as I go lol ! But if I hung my stuff on a line my neighbours ( elderly ) would need a jump start !

On topic it's hardly discreet is it , bras and knickers yes but not crotchless knickers ,vintage, suspenders , bullet bras and seamed stockings ( I'm not exactly a retro vintage dresser  everyday).

Our line of work gives us some laundry challenges. My new place has no tumble drier - so I will need to minimise the amount I chuck in he washing machine - unless it needs a proper full wash. One challenge for me is small spunk stains (sorry if that is TMI). I hope this does not make me sound like a filthy woman but I'm loathed to wash a whole garment if it is fresh and nice smelling but has a small stain on it. Case in point this morning is that I did an OWO for a very virile chap and some spunk dribbled on my fresh-on black bra and new on black holdups (some on my dress that I had taken off - not sure how it got there). I had another booking an hour later. The stains were tiny - but would show when dried - so I put them in my washing machine with Tesco non-bio and changed outfits. Now drying on my drying rack.
My mum used to tell me to sponge out small stains - but how do you sponge out spunk stains. Most of my whoring gear is black that makes it worse. What do you do?
On a slightly different topic, I can share a tip - I picked this up from an experienced parlour girl I worked with a few years ago. If you get spunk in your hair, don't try to wash it out - it just goes rubbery and sticks. Wait for it to dry or dry it with a hair drier and then brush it out - it comes out perfectly. Sammy

For a start, non-bio is no good - use a decent biological detergent at 30 or 40 degrees to get rid of spunk, blood, secretions, saliva etc.

If it's a few bits of lingerie I'd just wash them by hand, which is probably better for them anyway.
