Enhanced CRB check and registered as a sex worker.

I am definetely on the police system as being a sex worker.

When a standard CRB check is done it is clear.

However if I decided one day I wanted to be a nurse they are going to want to do an enhanced CRB.

Would the police disclose that information?

There's no straight answer.

All I know is that a couple of years ago my 'Escort' occupation was put onto my DBS enhanced certificate, and the level I'm checked to is that of a nurse.

I have never been arrested for, or charged with any sex work related offences.

The occupation I was training in has accepted it, and I have been cleared for work with vulnerable people(and do do so).

You won't know until you try it, and if it does appear you can challenge it.

When I had a break from Sex Work I worked with vulnerable adults therefore had to have a enhanced DBS done.

Even though I had a record for sex work it didnt show as they are home office cautions and go from your record after a period of time (cant remember how long but I can try find out)

Mine had disappeared though and id only been out of sex work 6 months (which was around a year after my last caution)

Yes cautions now drop off even enhanced checks, they changed the rules on this a few years ago.

Whether they will put your sex work as your known occupation is a different matter.

Probably because I'd reported a few stalkers, phone harassment and a robbery which happened in the course of my sex work. I needed their help and could hardly not tell them.

Yes they do, mine says I am and I have never had any dealings with the police regarding work nor have I ever told them or HMRC what my second occupation is

You can only check someone else?s criminal record when they apply for certain roles, for example in healthcare or childcare.
If you?re self-employed
You can?t apply for a standard, enhanced or enhanced with barred lists check for yourself.

Instead, you can:

request a basic check
ask the organisation you work for to apply for your check if you?re doing certain roles

How you could check by yourself that? apparently you can t....Am i wrong?

Some ladies may not want their future employer to know, or current. It has made things more difficult for me, although not impossible and I have been turned down by one organisation, another held me at bay for a month whilst they checked it all out.

It's one factor which has encouraged me to stay in sex work, because it's always going to be there so I might as well carry on!

On the other hand doing sex work on the side while working with a civvie company that has issues with one of their employee having been an escort "in the past" (observe quotation marks) is not the wisest idea. I'm not critiziing you in any way mirror, just telling you to be careful, that's all.
