Looking after your back and joints
« on: 22 September 2017, 10:51:28 am »
I'm 34 and been doing this for a while and I'm beginning to notice that the work is affecting my back and sometimes hips. I have had a busy week this week and done a lot of doggy position - when I got up this morning, my back was hurting. I have noticed this is associated with spending a lot of time on all fours and getting shagged from behind.
I also get aches in my hips if I do missionary with my legs pulled back (so my legs go over the guys shoulders - which I find a lot of clients really like).
Does anyone else have this and know the best positions that clients will like but look after my joints? By the time I'm 40 I'm worried that I will be literally shagged out.

Stretching exercises and supplements (like glucosamine, chondroitin, omega 3 and green lipped mussel powder) may help. There is a plethora of videos on this topic on YouTube.

Yes I get that so I go for a half hour back rub every two weeks.  Although there are things she cannot do that a chiropractor can so pretty soon will have a few sessions at the chiropractor before maintaining with my usual back rubs.   I get a lot of build up in the hips.  Bending over and giving head every five mins. cannot help!

I have fibromyalia so I suffer with my back and hips anyway which gets worse after a busy day.

I always end my day with an epson salts bath with 5 drops of lavender oil and 4 drops of sandalwood in and i feel amazing afterwards. I also find it helps with the soreness "down there" if ive had a rather large client too.

I swear by an osteopath, however my back and leg pain is not sex work related.

I hit 35 and just started to ache so much in the mornings.  I'm not quite as fit as I used to keep and have had my fair share of riding accidents, which have had an impact on my range of movement. I find I get a lot of lower back pain during missionary, especially if the guy is small down there. It helps to put a cushion underneath. I have also noticed more neck and shoulder pain when giving oral if the guy is on his back. I have had to adapt a little bit and mention it if I feel uncomfortable these days.
