I just saw the post her daughter had put on Twitter. So sad to hear about this, never met Laura but she was an inspiration to myself as well as many others.

Wow she must have been in her 30s god bless her. Living in the fast lane wears our bodies down I think. She was a great lady.

Never met but spoke on the phone, she gave some advice about guys targeting me/threatening to out a few years ago.

Terrible news. Her daughter says she'll be carrying on the fight, great tribute would be to give to the fund set up to fight criminalisation.

I'm very saddened to hear this. She was so fearless and articulate in her defence of sex workers. I never met her but we spoke on twitter a few times and she was so kind. RIP Laura

Was coming to post about her death but am touched to see that it has already been put up.  She was a dear friend to some of us.  I admired her passion but mostly remember her mischief.  Think she will giggle somewhere about her floozy age?
