Would it be possible to develop a searchable database?
« on: January 27, 2011, 09:50:05 PM »
When I first came across Saafe I looked for very specific information on the main site about: escort-friendly accountants; good photographers; worthwhile directories for advertising (I still think this may be area specific) and adult friendly web hosting (I'd recently paid for a Weebly site just to have it removed) to name a few examples. At the moment I'm hunting in old posts for details of escort friendly hotels as I'm about to give up my in-call apartment, move in with my boyfriend and attempt weekly tours.
Of course I've found bundles of invaluable advice and information. I've also come across lots of "PM me for details about such and such" and wondered if there was a way we could pool our combined knowledge into a searchable database. It would probably only be accessable by registered users, and perhaps it could have a second layer of separation, eg. sending a PM to a moderator requesting a password.
Realising as I'm typing what a logistical nightmare it could well be, and perhaps a different site entirely from Saafe. I'd certainly be very interested in this type of database, and interested in setting one up if anybody would like to team up

Ah, just reread "Recommendations" on the main site which does give a lot of info I've looked for in the past. I suppose I'm asking about a highly extended version of this, searchable with different parameters eg. location. I'd certainly find it an interesting project to get my teeth into.
