The only reason Geisha is used really, is because like this website and others I have seen train the staff! Yes the ladies have training modules and programmes to follow etc. Usually unable to retain their staff as ladies may find being trained on manners and how to interact socially etc rather insulting.
Geisha is related to sexual services, courtesan is related to sexual services. So its another marketing hook per say.
