Slow at the minute or just me?

For the first time ever I have had a week with no punters, I'm part time 10am-4pm and can usually see a couple of punters a day no problem, my usual Monday morning 1 hour regular wasn't able to make it last week but I thought no problem as its after pay day and February had been so abysmal surely its due time for my regulars to return and we can get back to normal service..
Although I did have calls they were from listed TW's and bareback requesters etc so I ended up on Friday with a bit fat ?0. I laughed about it to my escort friend (who had held the record last year for having a ?40 week) saying I'm now the one with the worst week ever title.

I had an absolute shedload of TW yesterday. 8 bookings, 2 cancelled, 2 showed up, 4 no shows (all of which I'd pegged beforehand as being unlikely to turn up, so at least my instincts were right!)

The most breath-taking was the guy who called me at noon and made a booking for 7pm, who I asked to confirm at 5.45. He didn't, which I had expected.

He then called me at 7.05pm, 5 mins past the start of the booking he'd made, and tried to book me again. Wasn't he surprised when I gave him both barrels!

Had 4 calls yesterday but all wanted 1pm!!! then nothing for the rest of the day I hope it picks up soon my savings are getting a hamering atm

I've had 2 calls today.

First I answered and he didn't even say anything!

Second he hung up after two rings, rung back and then told me we weren't compatible, but when I asked why he bothered ring he said he wanted to arrange something but then once again told me we weren't compatible.

So far a very successful day!

Been absolutely rubbish the past 2 days for me.February was steady away for me though when alot of others seemed to find it dead so swings and roundabouts.I'll be working this Saturday and I did so last Saturday and I was able to catch up moneywise.

One of the questions is, "Has any of you offered the reduced or promotional rate during these "slow" times to simulate more interest? " I would be flamed by saying this, but I bet punters would go to a lidle version of escorts when they don't want to spend the normal/standard rates.  What do you think?

People will always choose to spend their money however they feel like...My price is average and I mostly see working class men, although I've also got quite a few very wealthy regular clients who could easily afford to see someone who charges double my fee but they keep coming back for years on end. I look at it like this: Not to do with work but in my private/leisure time have stayed in ?250 a night hotels (admittedly not paid for by me) I've also stayed in ?150 a night rooms, and ?9 a WEEK apartments and had different and varied but equal amounts of enjoyment, fun and pleasure in all of them. I've also bought foundation at ?6.99 and at other times spent ?39 on a bottle the same size and found them to be very similar in the coverage, finish etc

I have done this - once when my neighbours went away for a long weekend I advertised it as a special offer on AW and I got a LOT of business that weekend.

I think there is definitely for many punters a kind of personal budget where they won't go over, and for many men it's 100 quid. If I drop to 100 there is a definite uptick compared to my usual price of 120.

I think it is dependent on area though. My home area is saturated with agencies and parlours. So punters have been "trained" to expect a full service for less. When I'm on tour I can stay just as busy at my normal rate.

I must be doing something wrong, I am getting no interest. Nothing at all about my upcoming London tour, when usually have had at least some interest.
