 then just one genuin guy but e hard work job.

I didn't work Monday and guess what I got over ten enquiries.  Amazing for a half-term and not yet payday.  Which was why I didn't work.  Incredible.

I had to turn away bookings yesterday and so far have one client this morning.

I'm low volume as I'm working from home. I won't fork out for a hotel in the half term but at least it's 100% profit.

It will be my first November working, so I really do hope it will be busy!
Last week Thursday in Euston was quite good. Today in South Kensington, it was a bit slow... Let's see what the rest of the week brings.

Nothing today and had to cancel a mini London tour today and it cost 235 to cancel FFS a 3 day stop

Here, when I say the economy has slowed down I'm not making things up. I have been in the industry for many years and I'm very very familiar with the financial patterns. I have noticed (starting this summer) a change in patterns, business wise THIS is not being a normal October by any means. It's abnormally slow for being this time of the year. I'm leaving a link of an article I read this morning  and comfirmed "it's not just me but it's slow at the minute" for many people.

I've done 4 good bookings this week and I'm happy with that. This October has been slower though.

I like to see around 3 or 4 a day. This week I started on Sunday and had 2. Monday looked promising with 4 (3 of which were hours) but then both Tuesday and yesterday only had 2 on each day - all half hours. Have done one half hour this morning but it is very quiet. Didn't even get any calls or texts through the night last night (have my phone on silent so they don't bother me anyway) so it must be slow!

Yes I agree with Ana above.  It is slower since summer.

That said it has picked up a tad for me this week but overall the market is less buoyant and I put it down to the fact the pound is weaker now.

Ticking away nicely( but slowly) in Leeds this week, but more idiots than normal. I remember last October and some of November being quiet, I put it down to us being a luxury and if people are skint or needing to budget for holidays,Christmas or half terms we are bottom of the pile in the financial pecking order. If only their dicks were in charge of the wallet
