New plastic tenners are coming this autumn sometime, with the twenties due in 2020. Hopefully that'll give me time to get used to taking them out of my purse in Wilko without dropping them when they slither all over each other :).

The new pound coins arrive on Tuesday, for those who live near the arcades  ;D

What do you do with the old tenners will the bank change them I have a couple of thosand pounds  in ten pound notes and God knows how much in twenties lol

I saw a client a couple of months ago who works in a bar and he said the staff go round every night and find dozens of fivers that have slipped out of people's pockets, handbags, etc.

Hmm, if the tenners are due in say September then 6 months timeframe is probably about right to start running down the existing printed stock, get it into circulation and used rather than trashing the already-printed notes once the new ones go live.

Well what a week this has turned out to be! I like to see 3 or 4 a day and usually do but this week has been deathly quiet - the phone just isn't ringing. Had 2 half hour's on Monday, an hour and a half on Tues, 1 hour yesterday and so far today nothing! Just 1 call today which resulted in a booking then 15 mins later he cancelled!

I was on holiday last week and usually find it's busier when I come back after being away but not this time  :(

Going to my other incall location tomorrow (30 mins away) so will see how things are there

One and a half hours Monday, half an hour Tuesday, half an hour Wednesday and half an hour today lets see what tomorrow brings.
Next week I've got my weekly regular 1 hour booked on Monday and a new punter has confirmed AW 1 hour booking on Tuesday.
That's ok for me I always said if I can make a living wage I'm happy.
Its still quiet on the phone though I remember a couple of years ago most of my bookings were in the morning, I could easily have done my 2 punters by midday and put my feet up and often had to turn punters away because I'd seen my quota for the day, my escorting friend and I couldn't have a proper phone conversation with each other because both our working phones would be going off every couple of minutes.
The good old days lol

Until a couple of years ago I did not start my working day until around 12pm but then decided to offer 10am onwards and wow! I get lots of 10.30-11.30am bookings now and if I have had one or two bookings by 1pm it is a nice feeling that I can take the rest of the day off if I feel like it.

I must have missed hundreds of bookings before I did morning ones!

Did 3 hours today, first at 8 AM. Could have done one or two more but because I'm moving I prefer to use my spare time to work on my own homes under the hammer DIY. This week I reached my target and some more. Promising.

A lot of people will be paid on Monday or Tuesday, the remainder on  Friday.

Busy in Manchester! 3 1 hour bookings Thursday, one 1 hour booking yesterday and then 7 hours with A reg. Had an awful few weeks so so glad it's picking up!

Frustrating weekend... Reg has had to cancel tomorrow. Turned down a lovely young man I saw last year who rang for an out-call last night but it was too late; he said he'd come for an in-call today, but no peep.

Then dealt with someone frankly odd yesterday, who booked for this lunchtime. He confirmed dead on the hour before, as requested, but then asked if we could do an hour later. Asked for a specific item of clothing, and then said he couldn't come today and could he come tomorrow instead - all within five minutes! Grrr.
