Paris, do you show your face in the videos. And if not, how do you go around it?

If you click on my adultwork profile that i posted above you can see my video  i basically did this one myself  i used my webcam on my laptop  and i pointed at my boobs
i worked out how long it was going to take me and set it on a time for 10 seconds over it and then just recorded
it took me several attempts to get it right it often dose
i do the same thing  for other videos as well  if you have a client you know well you can always ask him to hold the camera for you
if you have an iphone ipad or blackberry they all have reverse camera so you can record while you see yourself in the camera so you know what your doing

is there anyway that this can be either a sticky or put with the advertising thing that i wrote ages ago  its very good and informative  and simple to read as we always seem to get people asking  the same stuff    ;D  and this could easily get lost amongst other posts

UPDATED...

ANYONE FINDING IT SLOW....

* Update your AW profile
* Get more pics (no need for professional pics, as long as they do look like you)
* Get a website
* Update your website
* Run a limited "special offer"
* Offer discounts for longer bookings
* Offer discounts during quiet times (such as Euro football, Olympics, etc)
* Offer (and advertise) discounts for REGULAR regulars (guys who book you every week, etc)
* See what your competition is doing
* Look at how social media can help your business
* Find more places to add your site link to
* Think about adding more services to your repartoire
* Tour
* Catch up with book-keeping/accounts
* Extend your availability

thank goodness for repeat customers this week as otherwise I'd be having a very quiet week.
Not a huge amount happening. Doing ok. But worried.
Coin is ok though.
75% of business were repeats.
How do newbies survive?
Remember, this is the Internet:

My week slowed down to a full stop  :(

My repeats are very irregular so whilst I am grateful to them I cannot really depend on them in any particular week\month\3 monthly period.

Ouch, that is really tough.
I hate football too, and I'm sure it will pick up for you afterwards.
Repeats are brill and a known quantity to a degree,
but where have all the new clients gone.
My repeats are irregular too. Some haven't seen me for a month, some for years.
It's like that every week, though different clients. Once they see me first time they always come back. Though their orbital distance hugely varies.
But when I get a new client it's like "Oh!"

Bugger. I want to move.  Based on 2011, that's 41% of my business gone instantly.   :(

I'm wondeing how the Olyimpics is going to affect us. Will it bring in more business, along with the tourists?

I've heard that hotel prices are going to rise sharply.

It doesn't help that where I live football IS a religion.

The Olympics seem very remote up here in Scotland.

If it turns out to be more than a big malefootballLOVEIN I might have to think of touring again next month.

Just had a text from a 'regular' who lately has become a pain in the arse and on the way to fast becoming an 'ex regular' :FF
He's got into the habit of texting late at weekends when he's had a 'few' and asking for a quicky. I do them, during working hours and they can be a great money spinner. He knows my hours, I give him discount as it is 'cos he was one of my first clients and we got on ok. (he doesn't have cheesy bits!!) Usually ignore him but tonight, bombarded with texts/missed calls (phone goes on silent/divert from 9pm until about 11pm in case of bookings for next day, then goes off) I just replied to last text, saying yes, ok, but it's £60 as I class after 9pm as unsociable hours... I expect he's gone for a familiar alternative... a fuzzy old porn film, a can of beer in the left hand and his nob in t'other... Times are hard but standards of practice are essential for my well being!

Hmm yes it is a little sad when a regular who has previously behaved impeccably begins to show
signs of becoming a timewaster. Not sure why they do this but it has happened to me on a few occasions.
I end up blocking them so don't have to deal with it any more but it is a bit of a puzzle
Could it be familiarity breeds contempt?

Yep, think you got it in one! It's a common theme on here and can be a hard lesson to learn, especially when new to this job.
We should put signs up in discreet places saying, 'GIVE DISCOUT AND YOU ARE DOOMED!' ;D

hmm yes I think are right there.  I've had the same with a regular who started out being a good payer (offering over the odds for a 2 hour booking), then I did an overnight with him in a lovely hotel with tons of champagne, the next time he even paid me £100 to go out for a drink with him!  Since then its been one cancellation after another (admittedly I had to cancel one too), offering to pay me by cheque, and he wants to chat for ages on the phone.  I've stopped replying to his texts today, I just can't be bothered anymore...  NEXT... !

It is very very quiet not had a client for a week ,however turned a few away due to not having compatiable times but very quiet. I am now starting to see this as if it happens its a bonus and not rely on it so much especially when its football, holidays and stuff.. I am sure it will pick up a little.
