I got given a fucking machine by a reg. It's a pain to use and takes up too much space but I can't get rid of (where anyway? Oxfam?!) in case he wants to use it with me again.

What is it with damn Prosecco?  I've had countless bottles of this and I hate the stuff.  I use it to clear the drain in my kitchen sink.

I think they like to bring a bottle so it's on view to any nosy neighbours - make it seem more like a legit date.

My favourite gift so far was a 'little black dress' which was given to me, as it was too small for him to wear.  He had obviously made a run and grab decision in Asda for himself but it suited me just fine! lol

I would like your opinions on recieving gifts from clients
Or gift offers from strangers with many positive feedbacks about generosity !!!
I feel uncomfortable with strangers offers but don't mind regulars bringing chocolate or wine.
Do you feel manipulated or flattered . I feel some are time wasters testing so don't respond .
I had mentioned in a blog over the weekend I was buying a certain outfit and a member e-mailing offering to buy for me I didnt reply I felt uncomfortable so would prefer to just buy my own outfit .

maybe i would react like you! then depend about his comm...feeling like then you need to give back!
usually they bring some gift...bottle of wine/bijoux/parfum/opera ticket/cd/drawing..i like that! even then i do not use it!
usually i give to somebody, family....i am full of wine at mine! LOL

I would rather receive nothing than say an acted thank you for something quite obviously not bought for me. When they give you an unwanted gift which belonged to someone else (wife? gf? ) and they think you regard them as mega generous.

Out of date cakes and unwrapped stuff in an old carrier bag, no thank you just the fee will be fine.

A couple of clients know my favourite chocolate (just run of the mill Cadburys) and I love their thoughtfulness when they hand it over. If they ask my favourite perfume and then bring it whether it is a tiny bottle or a body lotion I am a happy bunny.

If I was never given any gifts I would still be happy.

Some of my regulars know I love chocolate so get that from time to time which I appreciate as its the thought. One got me some Xmas pressies one of which was really thoughtful as it related to a conversation we'd had before.

One of my regular always brings me a box of chocolates too.  I smoke and now and again I get cigarettes from a  regular client.
Also I've received perfumes, make-up, lingerie(never fits),flowers and loads of bottles of wines.
I love the perks of this job

You know, I know this is a job and we get paid well but its a lovely touch, especially when you mostly offer a GFE. Got to admit my complete dream present would be a louis vuitton/chanel handbag. Remember reading once that an escort got one from a client which was stuffed full of cash. That is my complete dream fantasy!  but even though its lovely when the client buys for you, I do my best to seem 'equal'. like over christmas, I always had a bowl of nice chocolates so clients can help themselves and always offer a range of drinks  sigh dreaming of that bag now xx
