I plan on working this year (if there are any takers)!  I have quite a few friends nearby who are doing Christmas meals, and I can pop in whenever I like at various friends places for some festivities and then pop out again for bookings.

Plan on getting some silly Christmas hat and knickers.  Ho ho ho!  :D

Yes I'm gonna get a sexy Santa outfit! But if its all outcalls thats no good to me as I don't drive. I've got a flexible invite on the day so guess I'll just have to see if I get any incalls or (very) local outcalls.

Yep, I am definately working throughout and finding that most of my regulars are interested in seeing me either on the day itself or over the xmas period to 'treat themselves'.
It is one of the most lucrative times of year for outcall Escorts.. ( hmm, perhaps I should charge double time like Taxi-drivers? )   ;)
A mid-afternoon booking last xmas day, followed by an overnight somewhere else meant that I earned more that day than I would in a week normally  :D

You be aware on Xmas Day and Boxing day it is unlikely to be an incall.  It is lonely men who have had a drink so its outcalls all the way.  That is what I found over the last three xmases.  So if you are going to work, no drinking.

Oh, true... Thanks Pandora. I don't drink when I work either as I drive myself to outcalls.

I was thinking about working Xmas Day this year. Thought it would be really unusual, but apparently not if this thread is anything to go by. I'd been thinking of charging time and a half as well, glad to know it's worked for others.

Having just lost my Mum, Xmas is going to be a tough day to get through whatever I do :'(. Think doing something totally different would be easier than trying to put a brave face on during the usual festivities.

CeCe I'm sorry to read about your loss. Nothing anyone can say will help I assume but I wish you the best.
Ps: Deffo charge extra for Christmas Day, every one else does ie; taxi drivers, club entry etc.

I'd like to echo Natalie's sentiments, CeCe - Wish there was something I could say to help.  Working could very well take your mind off things at Christmas, but please look after yourself first and foremost at this time.

My family are demanding my presence this Christmas, which is unusual but some of them are going through a tough time, so won't be able to work for a week and a bit while I'm out of the city.  I want to work but if the weather closes in and I don't make it back home I've had other plans made for me by a relative in the city.  Ah, there's always next Christmas if I'm still escorting then!

Thanks Natalie and Holly. It's sad, she was far too young, but it's one of those things you just have to accept and deal with. Christmas was always going to be the hardest time, boy will I be glad when this one's over. Still having a bit of extra cash wouldn't hurt. I'm glad I've read this thread because it's helped me decide to try working after all, and it's good to have a focus for a time I was dreading.

I can absolutely empathise CeCe,  bad anniversaries are always awful but doubly so at a festive time when everyone is happy and cheerful (or expected to be).  I find it definately helps to be busy.  Personally for me November is awful for similar reasons, and I'm always so glad when December arrives.

I am not working on Christmas day and I don't think I'd be tempted to either. My xmas day is small and not stressfull at all so there isn't much that would make me want to do anything else.
In fact I welcome the time off.

I am in two minds whether to work. We will have a family Xmas at my mum's during the day but would like to work at night,  'cept there's no gaurentee of when I'll get away and it means not imbibing any of my sister in law's frankly lethal cocktails (score) or champagne (poo).  I'd like an over nighter starting late, Hell, I'll even provide the bubbles. It'll be an incentive not to stuff myself till I pass out in a food coma during the day!

I'm another who welcomes the time to sit on my backside and do nothing.

Also remember what works for one person in one area may not work for another in another area so although you may be willing to work there may just not be the calls, so be prepared but dont be let down if it doesnt work out the way you want it.

It looks like I won't be able to work christmas day now, which is slightly disappointing  :-\ December has been a little quiet...
