Hiya ladies, just wondered what it's been like for those who has worked over the festive period? Does it quieten down, is it dog eat dog for bookings or is it quite steady, maybe even busier?

I need to start planning in advance, and I've never worked over winter/christmas

Put 'christmas' into the search engine here and you will come up with some replies without us going all over it again.

I personally would never want to work Christmas day or boxing day I love Christmas time and always have lots of personal commitments.

There are no other threads coming up on Christmas?

Kylie, did you try from the Search box, or just from this thread? I got nine pages of results when I tried it, but you do need to come out of the thread first.

To the OP, Lady Lust is right - this has been done to death and if you try searching from the link above you should find plenty of info. I don't think one day that isn't particularly busy warrants six months forward planning unless you're thinking of touring somewhere, but if you're really wanting to organise things now then there are plenty of past discussions to help.

What they all said before me plus no one can tell if you're going to be busy or not.  It depends a lot on what area you are in, if you have a lot of regulars who will want to see you at this time, if your prices are right for you and the area, how many clients in your area see girls at xmas and have the extra money to spare etc etc etc.  There is no way anyone can answer for you.  I could tell you that xmas is one of my busiest times but that will not help you in deciding as we are all different and work differently and have a varying number of regulars and new clients each month.

Its the old how long is a piece of string question

I found that the whole of December was really busy and especially in the last week or so before Christmas.  It quietened down quite a bit in January.  February and March have been pretty dire, aside from my regulars.

I was going to work Christmas day last but would rather spend with family. As I can see them 364 days out of the year.

Oi, it's the first week of September, no xmas chat please.  It's bad enough with the supermarkets getting x mas stuff out already.

Mind you I wouldn't mind working at xmas, anything to get out of cooking the turkey.

Posting links to search results doesn't work, so it's as well to check.

I have already merged this thread with an older but not too archaic one discussing the same topic, and whilst I think we all agree that it's best to search for topics which are likely to have been covered before prior to starting a new thread, constantly stating this in every time an unwary poster does so (and in a not particularly friendly, pleasant or helpful way; I have removed one similar post from this thread already) without checking is getting as repetitive as the problem.

It's not the crime of the century, and the topic was clear enough from the title - if you think a thread is likely to irritate you, best to just ignore it.

I've worked on Christmas Day and loved it instead of me being with family getting bored and will be doing this again this year as I intend to be alone.
