Previous years I've found the run up to Christmas quite a popular time for bookings. This year - nada!

Christmas used to be the busiest time of the year for this industry, not any longer though.

I must be sad!!!!

I had a booking on Christmas eve which I really enjoy doing, and agreed a booking with someone for today - however a pending family bereavement, which I know is true means he has to cancel.

I also have other bookings lined up over the festive period.

I do have family and I am/was spending time with them today, the booking was for this evening when I'd be with my OH who I'll be with most of the day and went out with last night. Already dressed up and made up for our meal, a couple of hours earning some cash to me is better than languishing on the sofa stuffing my face - don't enough of that in previous years, and I don't drink alcohol so totally suits me. I can understand other people want to do other things. I was going to write him a card and give him a small token. It'll wait.

Why sad?

I?m more excited about working tomorrow than having to tolerate family, if it wasn?t for the guilt trips to be part of today I?d be booked into a hotel and working like many others.

I must be very very sad then 😂 I'm working Boxing Day to New Years Day . I'll spend Xmas day with my family but that's it . I would rather work 😂

I've done it for the past 4 years and always made a killing .Although I know some escorts that have worked and it's been dead for them .

I already have 3 bookings for boxing day with regulars and I'm pretty sure if I feel up to I could  do double that amount easily .

I have a lovely hotel booked with a pool & gym for 6 nights including New Years Eve & Day for under ?300 which is a total bargain .
I don't particualry like Xmas it's the most over commercialised day of the year .
I think it's nice if you have small kids  that get caught up in the magic of. Father Christmas  but I'd rather work and make a shit load of money than eat to much food and drink to much and feel like shit the next day.
I rarely drink and eating dried up Turkey or Beef is my ideal of hell .

I will take 3/4.week of in mid January -Febuary as this is when I find it a lot quieter

I'm waivering about taking any bookings today or tomorrow as I'm fighting off a lurgie. I did, however, think someone who texted me earlier asking for a 2h out-call to Greenwich (I'm near Watford) was just a tad optimistic!

Nothing sad about working though - the emergency services have to and not everyone has family to spend it with (or have good reasons for not wanting to).

My good reason has just crawled out her pit, conveniently after I?ve finished prepping all food, tables, cleaned up... ::)

In civvy world, working Xmas Day was usually a lot of fun, and in fact the days before and after as well, if you're working in any kind of hospitality business, were always good for tips.

I would ten times rather have been working today than sat eating shit food in an over-heated, over-crowded house listening to my boring racist uncle hold forth on Brexit and trying to choose whether to gouge out his eyes with a turkey baster or stab through his hand with my fork.

As it is I fucked off all my boring relatives some years ago, so my son and I had a lovely chilled out day walking in the park and feeding the birds, giving gifts to all our animals, playing Monopoly and cooking only the things we both want to eat.

I'm back at work tomorrow afternoon and really looking forward to it.
And me, I am not a mess, I am a wilderness, yes
The undiscovered continent for you to undress

I feel so hated on this site, oh well I'll live! what I should have said was I don't have a 'work place' and only tour so work from hotels only and would find it soul destroying sitting in a hotel room all over christmas on my own if the phone wasn't ringing and no bookings!.
