Poppers why?
« on: 05 February 2012, 09:49:38 am »

I don't get the insistence a lot of clients have on using these, is it typical for every escort offering in-calls to stock a supply of these things?

Personally I find it a little off-putting that they'd want to use one while with you, its as if to say you're not enough. Do they really find it impossible to gain arousal nor enjoy sex properly without resorting to solvent abuse!?
I think its pretty sad personally that so many guys seem to rely on these.

Last night a guy turned up and he was immediately asking do you have any poppers, I had one which a previous customer left, he used it then managed to lose it so we had to hop off the bed killing everything while he searched for it - he seemed so worried that he couldn't find it as if his enjoyment of the session depended entirely on it. There were regular breaks so he could continue sniffing away, what an excitement killer!

I don't find a bleary eyed guy smelling of solvents very attractive myself and I just don't get why they'd want to avoid interacting properly and getting aroused with you normally by stuffing that shit up their noses.

In the end he claimed he was losing his erection because of the poppers!

Seriously don't get these things...Why do they always ask if you have any?

They don't ALL ask, very few, and I say no.

If you give someone "some left over from another client" I think you are on very dodgy ground.  Chuck it away if you allow them to use them and they leave it behind.

I won't see anyone under the influence of drugs or drink.  Safety first.

Some men do find it enhances their pleasure, however I can't stand the stuff. I used buy the odd bottle but so few do request it, it just went off and I simply decided it wasn't something I was going to entertain anymore.

the worst ones are the idiots who try and shove it under YOUR nose.

One guy told me he was amazed I didn't use poppers. Really? I've never even thought about the need to use something like that for the sake of creating  sexual arousal.

Just seems a little sad to me, sex ought to be something like a drug in the sensations it creates itself by my reckoning.
Anyway guy who came today had no interest in such things, thank god and we bonded all the better for it.

I couldn't get how the client I had last night made such a fuss about seeing me only to then spend half the time sniffing solvents completely breaking up the experience! How intimate can you be with someone when it's like that?

I take note on throwing away the old stuff.

It just surprises me how many punters keep going on about poppers! Is their sexual arousal really limited to using that stuff?

A search will find a couple of other threads on them, including the way that supply (what you've been doing by offering the leftovers) is illegal.

No, I don't understand the appeal either. Given that their purpose is to lower blood pressure, it's not surprising that some of your lot have lost their erections.

I'm a massive fan of poppers myself (although I never use them for sexual arousal) but I would NEVER offer them to a client.

Poppers are called a harmless drug and I'm not an expert on what poppers do to people but through experience I've noticed that people with health problems such as heart conditions, migrane and people who suffer from anxiety can have a very negative experience of the drug - and although it doesn't kill them it would be very awkward sitting with a client while they have a panic attack, faint, loose vision or throw up due to poppers.

Another reason to avoid Poppers with a client is that it can give you something like a chemical burn or a rash when spilt on skin (especially sensitive skin) that looks like a blister, it is severely dangerous to drink or inhale (can be fatal!), and I'm not providing strangers with anything that they could harm me with - the risk in the job is enough - or something that they'll hurt themselves with because I don't want to deal with the mess of a client killing themself during an appointment by drinking poppers!!!

I work as an exotic dancer aswell and when I was new I used to have a glass of wine before work to get more confident but as an escort I sometimes use poppers whilst getting ready for an appointment to calm my nervous (I'm still new and get very nervous) becasue their effect doesn't last or take you out of your right mind like alcohol. And for that use - poppers are fantastic!

I like the contrast between 'harmless drug' and the list of some of their problems, some of which are fatal!

Another reason not to offer them to clients is that combining them with erection drugs is a definite 'no no' - having two things lowering your blood pressure can kill you.

It's good that they work for you, but I'd be looking for other non-drug ways to relax.
