hey,

i had a look at adult work. firt of all i dont know how it can be free as they ask me to pay to advertise my number so...
2.. dont you think that it s quite cheap, the majority of girls advertise at 110, 120 , 130  that is sooo cheap.
i have been working at £300 with agencies and i want to advertise at 250 on adult work, you think it would be ok? will i get any booking? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Adult Work has never really claimed to aim at the higher end of the pricing market.

It doesn't have an expensive feel to it all but there must be girls on there who charge £250 an hour?

I would say that, generally speaking, at that fee you need your own site designed by a company such as 69 Design and to be listed on sites such as Cherry Girls, Captain 69 and Punterlink. Posting on the Punterlink message board with a quality website behind you should bag a few of the £250 an hour clients.

Its free to set up a profile so just give it a go. If you dont get any/enough takers, then either drop the price or look to a more upmarket advertsing avenue. If you do get business, then you are quids in!

yes JOANNA, i have been charging from 300 to 600 pounds the hour for the last 2 years, to get 3 to 4 bookings a week, after commission of agency, i get from 250 to 500 for the hour
as an independant i will try at 250 then 200, but i really cant do it for £150 or less for exemple

I'm £120 for incalls and I don't see your need for slating girls who are, I would much rather that than only have 3 bookings a week at 250. I'm busy most of the time, am good at what I do, have good regulars and a great income - I do nothing I don't want to do nor do I feel undervalued. I also don't (most of the time lol) have to worry about when my next booking is going to be - which I know from knowing girls at those rates happens a LOT. I also probably have more in the bank than yourself after being in this less than a year and having taking a nearly 4 month break in the middle, and at the tender age of 20.

You certainly won't get anything from adultwork at 300 an hour, probably not 250 either. Try 200, but I'd say go for 150-175 if you're looking for a good amount of work and you're good at 150 you'll get it.

Also, if your adultwork has no links to your website you can charge more on your website where you are targeting a different type of gentleman.

Celebate tell it like it is honey. Im actually thinking about lowering my rates significantly (although its in range of others on the site) just to start get some business. Besides, I'll be leaving this shitty town soon so before I go I can slash my rates big time and get the hell out of here and wont give a shit about who thinks Im cheap, Im hoping I can pull in anyone who couldnt afford the normal rates!

It depends where you are located as to what you can charge perhaps.
There are girls on AW that charge 250.00 an hour and get that and are busy as well. Those in London can happily charge that.
I charge 150.00 an hour which is steep for where I live but I still get bookings via AW.

I don't think anybody is arguing here. It's been blown out of proportion perhaps?

I am surprised that you can get 600.00 an hour though. But if you can, then carry on charging it.
I agree with the post above that I would rather work at the lower price mark and get more bookings than one or two a week at the higher price. More particularly in this current financial climate.

AW is the best site - however it really increases the traffic with the £1 a day phone number.  Although you do get the TW calls then also, so it is a trade off.  I get 80% of my work through AW.

The £5 green light is worth its weight in folding notes.  If you have a private gallery it pays for itself anyway.  Its false economy to save £6 a day, as I always get at least one booking if the light is on, nearly always more, and either none or one if its not.

Punterlink classified are free - get a bit of business through that - but you do need a website to link it.

Punternet I have found to be useless - I paid the monthly fee for 3 mths and got nothing so stopped that;

Selectanescort is free and have had a few calls off that.

My last post was supposed to be the one about free advertising - I don't know how it got on here.

However if you are getting £300-600 an hour I think you can afford your own website and should not be worrying about penny pinching. 

If you can get that you should stay with your agency.  Quite honestly I doubt you would get business on AW.

you are right that for the fees the agency charge for me i can just get 2 or 3 booking a week, and that was enough for me as i was studying, now i am willing to go at £250 to get more as i have more free time and will try to get more money than you on my bank account ... ;D ;D ;D ;D
anyway, Relax girl, i believe £120 is very cheap but with the amount of girls we have in London, it must be hard to charge more unless an egency take care of it...

you are totally right pandora, i can afford a website and i have one now, a free one thought hihihi ;D
and i had my first booking from AW this morning at £300, not bad!!!!

lets see when the next one is coming, if nothing till friday i go down to £260.

You will not get a lot of bookings from AW at that rate, believe me - my best friend was a glamour model (money is pish compared to this haha) and could not get enough bookings at those rates.

You also will get a lot of work from a free website when you are charging those kinds of rates. If you want to charge that much you have to pay out in advertising for a very professional website, pay for the correct advertising, get very good reports and must be in a top-notch location.

You cannot get to charge those rates by not putting any money upfront. Clients for all price ranges above the very low on adultwork expect a good website.

And also, you called me cheap! How do you expect me to react to that? I do not feel in the slightest bit cheap, I have paid off £10,000 of debt and have the same in the bank for very little time in this business; I stay in lovely hotels; have lovely things and very lovely clients.

I have a lot of fun escorting and find no need for someone to tell me what I should and should not charge nor for someone to tell me im cheap. You emailed me looking for advice, so maybe you should have tried looking me up before you started insulting me. If you look around this website you will see the majority of the girls do not charge £300 an hour so try not burning your bridges whilst you're asking them for help.
