Hey, that's good news.  Glad you are sorted and happy.

Now,  rest up and heal,  hopefully you are going to be busy.  X

Yes well done on finding somewhere you feel comfortable.
As others have given sound advice re not disturbing the neighbours and spacing  your clients out so its not a revolving door and if at any time you feel harassed or someones taking the mick the police are always there to help if you haven't a partner or security.

I don't have big conversations with the neighbours opposite me but I do give them a friendly hello if we cross paths and my front yard is always nice and tidy. I have a neighbours above me also and I keep noise to a minimum and say hi and keep my area and stairwell tidy. Sometimes little gestures like that count for a lot. Im sure they might know what I do by now but them along with my CCTV make me feel safer.
So, what she done said was that happy hoes ain’t hating and hating hoes ain’t happy.

I've been telling all my friends I've been looking for temp jobs to explain the flexible daytime hours and that my parents send me an allowance on top of that to help out (I'm a student) to explain why I have so much more money than that kind of job would pay.

Same to my parents, who don't live in the same town as me, but IDK how to explain how I'm paid yet but will have to think of something.

Mssa, if you try the Search box with things like 'occupation' and 'cover story' you'll find this has been discussed many, many times over. Here's a couple of threads to start you off :).

One of the replies in a link Amy posted above mentions a Seamstress, which I've never thought of but its a good one! (maybe a trainee/assistant though, just in case that prompts someone to present a dress they want altering or similar lol!)
If you do incalls it could explain the occasional male coming and going, ie you could be measuring a few guys up for suits for a upcoming wedding etc, although it may not be as helpful with outcalls.
They tried to bury us.
They didn't know we were seeds.

Mine is accompanied viewer as I do outcalls. Showing people around houses for an estate agency, popping out to various locations for a few hours at a time.. I'm not sure it's a very good excuse but it's enough to explain a few outcalls a week on top of my day job.
If you're a beautician or hairdresser then just say mobile outcalls. Maybe even babysitting? Providing companionship for the elderly? There's loads of cover stories you can choose from, I think the seamstress one for incalls is genius! :)

Try to cover up how much money you earn, or people will get very suspicious and start talking, you may get accused of doing illegal things. The best thing it to put it in your account and try to act like you're just getting by and little luxuries are gifts from parents or aunts/uncles. It's frustrating having to act like the things I treat myself to are gifts rather than things I've worked for, but otherwise it would look suspicious. x

My close friends and family know what I do. :) My nearly 70 year old gran knows what I do and fully supports me in it, reckons if she was younger she'd try it herself! My friends are constantly talking to me about being safe but support me in whatever and really its just because they care. I'm not ashamed of the job and I'm so lucky I have very accepting people around me. xx

I have a 'normal' part-time job so I don't really need any cover I just need to make sure that I am discreet at all times. I also make sure that I am suitably skint at all times and am not living beyond my means. Good for putting some money aside! As you are a student I think you need to be particularly careful. If you are a bit too showy with your extra money others are likely to get a bit suspicious or maybe just jealous that you have well-off parents that can afford to send you an allowance if theirs can't. At the very least you may just end up paying for more rounds of drinks!

I'm a post-graduate so it makes sense I'd need that money because of having to pay my own tuition, rent etc as student loans don't continue past undergrad stage  :'( :'( :'( It'd look worse if I apparently wasn't having to do any working at all haha

There are loads Daisie but for the life of me I can't remember what you would put in the search engine.  Try a few different words and you should find something.

Hopefully someone with a better memory than mine will be along soon.

It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,

I think it's best not to just choose some random profession, but talk about something you understand. Can you not make "hospitality" work for you in some form? Some kind of promotions job via an agency or some such? Then you just need to read the relevant monthly magazines to update your knowledge of your purported profession, and you'll have straight looking literature lying about the house. The less you have to change your story, the better.
