D.3, I've been doing this every other weekend since mid May. First weekend I had 1 1 hr and 1 30 min. Next alternate weekend I had 1 30 min booking. Since then I've had one 2 hr outcall. That's it.
I have to say (and NOT having a go at you at all, please don't think that) - but I can't seem to win!
when I was only doing every other weekend I was getting told that's no good it's not enough available time....
now I've made a lot of changes to ensure that I can a. now take calls for bookings between 9am and midday every weekday pretty much and b. so that I can work up to 4-5 evenings/nights a week - so really, I just feel I can't win really - now I'm too available?
I'm not getting enough calls/emails/bookings in the first place, to cajole them into just one night (and I hear you believe me, I'd love to do that and get 2 or 3 each time I book a hotel!!!!). If I've got to leave my kids (and essentially, it's them I'm trying to earn money for), I'd like to have a bit more to show for it really.
I get what you say L-L - the only way I can cope with it in my mind (bearing in mind what I NEED to earn in order to keep my house, my car etc) is to view it that hey who knows this could become a regular and hey who knows, they might leave good feedback and then that might help with the bookings.... so I'll probably do it and at least that's £60 towards my groceries this week.
What's the general consensus of opinion on only doing 1.5 hr bookings for in-calls - that extra bit of cash would cover the cost of the hotel.....
? Or just too off-putting?
Alisha - I was at first only doing every other weekend til I realised that a lot of guys like a quick bit of how's your father on the way home in the week lol! I've just lost a customer from my daytime job so that I can take phone calls for bookings most mornings (which I couldn't do before) and now thanks to use of a babysitter I can do any weekday really. When I've got my kids I could work if it was say a 2 hour out call, but it's easier not to - on the alternate weekends when they go to their dads I'm available from 9.30pm on a Fri to Sun lunchtime and again, VERY little bookings. Don't really know what else to do.
Am touring in a couple of weeks (coinciding geographically with where I rendezvous with the ex to drop my kids to him!!!) and had offered £60 30 mins special offer for this week - no takers. Short of offering 1 hr for £70 or something, I don't know what else to do really.
