Should I say something?
« on: June 19, 2012, 08:57:24 PM »
The incall place I work from, the landlord doesnt like clients having showers and makes a huge deal out of it. This has made me loose bookings.

I am quiet happy working there, it's easy to get to from home and I like the landlord but I can't keep working there if clients cancel or won't book because they want a shower after work.

I pay £10 for half hour app and £20 per hour app so I think this is plenty for him to not make a big deal about clients showering.

What do you think?

Offer an extra £5 per hour whether the client(s) showers or not? If it's the money aspect (water/electric/gas), this should easily cover it. And obviously make sure the bathroom is spotless when you leave.

Perhaps offer this on a trial basis?

Has he said WHY he doesn't like people/clients showering there? Is it his own bathroom, or the money/mess, or....something else?

Maybe he has limited towels and doesnt want to share them with clients buy some for him and some gents bathroom products .
( after asking why/can you etc )

Not knowing what kind of premisis it is it could be lots of reasons

Myself and a friend have seen the same client for over fifteen years at 3pm sunday afternoon at his house ( a bungalow)
he will only let us flush the toilet once between all three of  us for the duration of the stay in case the neighbours hear if they are in their garden ;-p  it is noisy

maybe he doesnt want people hearing the shpwer everytime a guy pops in ?

I agree with Natalie b offer to bring towels etc and ask him why.

It could be something really silly to you but a big deal for him.

Offer to clean the shower afterwards, pay for the water/power.  He might have a water meter and be on a budget, so many things.  You won't be able to find a solution unless you ask him what the problem is.

That's the difference between America and you all's country. I don't think I've EVER had a client take a shower at my incall place, unless they want me in there with them as part of the pleasure. Most just shower prior to arriving, and leave covered in cum and pussy juice LOL.

Surely there can't be such a transatlantic gap in terms of clients showering; I would have though it's more at the discretion of the provider? I insist that all clients shower upon arrival for my peace of mind. They all shower afterwards too.

I can understand if your landlord is worried about a meter etc. but he should be able to provide some basic amenities I would have though  :-\

Why not ask the landlord to suck the willies of unshowered/ potentially stinky men instead. :(

[Edit: also ask the landlord to explain to wives and girlfriends why their partners are coming home and dashing to the shower. ;D]

He always talks about how rich he is as he has lots of houses, a normal job on good money and the money he gets from us WGs so I really dont see the problem with showering?

I think that is a good idea to buy some towels and mens toiletries.
I think I pay enough to use the room so I think paying for each client that showers is abit OTT. but thats my opinion.
Hes loosing out on money as well by me having to turn the client away.

I'm defaintely going to speak to him about this when I next work from the incall place x

Is there any reason why you can not find a more suitable in call place or
person who does not have such an odd rule about no showering?

Showering is not  compulsory to me if the guy is fresh and clean but to be refused one
if asked is just plain awful and I don't know how you can stay working  in a place like that.

Luckily it's been all outcalls this week and found a new incall apartment. It's not as close to home as the other one by the will pick me up take me there and drop me home for £5 and charges same room fee and is better company and easier to talk to x
