Prompted by the story of a man who signed up with Elegance 4 Her (www.elegance4her.com) and Male Recruitment (www.malerecruitment.com) but only ever received bookings that were canceled at the last minute, BBC Wales investigates. They talk to someone who claims to have worked for the companies, and a forensic accountant.

There are a lot of scams like this out there. Please read this and don’t believe everything you’re told (yes, that includes here, do your research!)

Vixxy and her mum registered with Hilton Escorts. After paying £700 they haven’t been able to contact anyone at the “agency”. Fortunately they used a credit card so they can reverse the charges!

Ruff Diamond’s girlfriend was told by Escortopia that an American man wanted to book her. After paying the registration fee she heard nothing from him.
