You
may want to go and work in a different part of the country and why not.
You get to see new guys, a new part of the country and chill in a nice
hotel hopefully with a pool and a decent gym.
My advice for
those new to touring and relatively new to the business is to book a tour
to a place where you'll be doing something else too so if the worst case
scenario happens, and you don't get any genuine bookings, it wont be a
completely wasted journey.
Some girls take
deposits but in reality not all guys are willing to pay one, especially if
you do not have an internet presence as, understandably perhaps, they may
feel that you wont turn up and go off with their wad of cash.
However, without
deposits, tours can be very successful. Again an advert on
www.punternet.com which has a
specific advertising board for tours should serve you well. Do advertise
it on your own site too. Personally, I charge the same rates wherever I go
in the UK but some girls add on a little to their normal hourly rates to
help cover their travelling and hotel costs. Adding a little extra is
perhaps more common on escorts touring to London as rates are generally a
little higher across the board.
As for bookings, some
guys will want to guarantee they get to see you and will book very early.
You may get booked up from advance bookings alone but if not, it is worth
putting an ad on the announcements board on
www.punternet.com on the actual day to
pick up some 'passing trade'. It is worth doing that anyway as you may
well get a last minute cancellation or two due to a change in
circumstances in a client's day. Most decent clients will call and cancel
but others may just not turn up. I am always happy to re-book someone who
calls to cancel but not so happy if they just didn't bother.
On to venues. A busy hotel with a
biggish reception area and a bar is usually the best bet and lots of
people will be coming and going and so you are not likely to draw unwanted
attention to yourself. That said, Travel Inns and Travel Lodges can be a
cheaper option and can work well but it is worth trawling the net for good
deals on busier hotels. Often if you get a busier hotel at a Bed and
Breakfast rate, it will often work out cheaper than staying at a Travel
Lodge and paying for breakfast at the adjoining Little Chef. It is also
nice if the hotel has a health and beauty area and pool so you can relax
if a client blows out or after a full-on day. A hotel near to a
station/airport and reasonably near to a major road is ideal.
www.expedia.com and
www.ebookers.com and
www.laterooms.com all have good
deals and it pays to shop around but beware, to get a good rate you
sometimes have to pay up front and agree to not getting a refund if you
cancel. On the other hand, some hotels let you cancel up to 4pm on the day
of the booking without penalty so bear it all in mind.
Having said all
that on hotels, self serviced apartments are now very popular with ladies
and if touring with another lady, they can work out cheaper. Just
google 'self serviced
apartments' and the area you want to stay in and a multitude will
appear.
The good news is that the cost of
your travel and your hotel and a reasonable amount of subsistence (if
staying overnight) is all tax deductible!
On the day of the booking itself, I'd
get the client to call you to reconfirm and then call again when he
reaches the hotel car park to give him the actual room number. I would
also at that point, give him a description of the hotel lobby and
directions to the lift so he can walk in with confidence. He may well be
nervous and so the last thing he'd want to do is wander around looking
like he has never been there before.
As for safety, as ever, always let
someone know where you are and call in before and after bookings.
Oh and one last tip for now, do
remember to put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. I'm sure I am not
the only one with a story to tell about that! |
